    My mile takes me a bit longer to run, so I do this workout at 6x6:00 at threshold with 1 minute rests.

    One of my weekend routes is a lap of the Serpentine. Try an autumnal Hampstead Heath for some light trail.....

    I think my last two sets of sessions have been: 8x 800m w/ 1 minute rest (hit all of them between 2:36-2:39).
    Last one was: 2.4k tempo, 3x 1200m, 1x 600m, 1x 1km.

    Ah Hyde Park is a lovely place to run - especially during Royal Parks. Awful conditions fair play to you getting it done and also Sarah being support crew!

      We actually wanted to do a Shalane video.. and changed it to Molly, as really couldn't find much out about her training. It was all food content everywhere. Will look harder. So Molly got bumped up the order and we shot this one first!

      @@BenParkes from what I remember, isn't Shalane 'retired' as a pro runner and predominantly coaching now? Might be why it's harder to find out information on her training!

      Haven't decided yet.. need to make sure I might actually be able to complete the swim before committing. Bike and run I'm sure will be possible.. but I'm going to need lessons and a lot of help to swim 3.9k well!

    Think the 3 mins rest is too much but impressive pacing, if u r gonna train like molly put on some deviate elites instead of those clogs u r wearing

      2 minutes is the recovery really.. it's hard when filming as I like to talk to camera after the rep and that's not recovering. So it's 1 minute chat.. 2 minutes recovery. Hope that explains why I did 3!
