      I'm curious how plastidip or liquid electrical tape would work

      Ive never ran suppressed to want to use one, but if it saves brass then might be worth it

      @@shaunstayfree555195% of ARs are over gassed. Manufacturers do this on purpose so that the gun will run with any type of ammo and in most weather conditions. Dented case mouths are usually a symptom of being over gassed. The best way to correct this is with an adjustable gas block. Getting the correct gas flow will also save your rifle parts from a lot of unnecessary wear such as your BCG, buffer and buffer spring.

      I have one and it doesn’t help with mine. I’ve adjusted it down and it still eats up brass. I’ve adjusted to point of failure on locking back on empty and it still was dinging it up. Just the bcg more than likely
