Moe. You'll need to print out those gantry support fittings/threaded rods on thinggyverse. That will mitigate problems when you get higher with your taller prints.
Moe also wanted to comment I make an "expansion kit" with mechanical dual z to upgrade the size of the stock 300mm cr10. I bought an original CR5S "custom" with touch screen dual z motors and filliment sentry. Mine cost over $1170 but I don't see that model available any longer. After using mine for a couple months I bought a standard cr10 and it looked so small I thought they sent the wrong one.... Anyway. GREAT VIDS KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
Great video, thank you so much for sharing it. I just wanted to ask about how you're planning on making your big groot. Are you going to keep the settings you use for your benchies so far?
I just got my CR-10 S5. I really learned a lot from your excellent video. Thank You! A couple questions, I don't know what I am talking about but I am trying. 1. Why did you leave the quick wipe in your script file? Doesn't that clean the nozzle if so equipped? 2. I have no Acceleration or Jerk settings in my CR-10 controller menus. Can I put these in my script file, and will they work? is your build plate aluminium ? ive got the cr 10 s5 too and I cant even get my first full print done ! its been a month now. When I heat the bed to 60c , the bed warps ! any suggestions ?
hi moe, just found you on youtube since i wanted to see more cr10 s5 videos instead of the normal one and wanted to ask if this is too much of a printer for a newbie like me? i was very close on buying the prusa i3 mk2s ( built one ) but the big volume of these printers just made me change my mind since i want it for cosplay. can you help?
Armored Charlie .. I have a Prusa myself great machine..i have no issues with it..if u are willing to put time and some money on upgrades the s5 is great..i can promise one thing its not a mk2s and get ready to learn the hobby with the S5 ..

Its a great printer just needs a few upgrades..
I have the same printer but with stock hot end extruder, which is giving some problems. Your extruder head looks very different, what are you using?
26 Minutes for 30 Seconds that are important. Wow.

Yes.. for the most part, the only thing i will change is my infill to 5%.. basically to save some time and plastic
