I’ve just purchased a Motorhome, it takes a lot get courage to get out and about, in my case it’s something bigger than I usually drive. With life changes, it’s just me and my two dogs now, so it’s a challenge. Yet Im overcoming those worries. Well done to you.
Well done for getting out there and 'doing it'. I admire you driving something as big as a motorhome... well done, it can be daunting, parking in supermarkets and narrow lanes etc. Reading between the lines, you may have lost your partner so you have a lot of adapting to do. Your dogs will help tremendously, a good focal point for conversation on walks and in pubs etc. I'm sure you'll smash it... so Happy Christmas to you and may 2024 bring happy travels and lots of new memories. Best wishes, Teresa
Hi, I will check out the playlist, interesting thing to do by visiting all the 100 places, fun too😊👍 will come back and comment further, and since my van is almost ready {A 1994 T4 Villa Xl, hi top} I may also start a tour of them, what fun!
Thanks Deb... it's taken me a long while... but these past 7 years since TWorld... I've come a long way. But you don't cure it completely, you just learn more about yourself and how to attempt to 'manage' it. xxx
This video was brilliant. I have suffered all my life and I’ve passed it to my girls 😢. As I’ve aged I have become calmer and I can do much more myself. I found that when I was at my worst I would smell something strong like Vics vapour rub, just to change the stimulus. ❤
Hi Michelle, I was so amazed that you thought this video was 'brilliant' as there's a lot of videos out there on the topic. Thank you so much for watching this one, taking time to comment and I do hope it helps both yourself and your daughters, to move forwards and start re-wiring your minds ... from anxious thoughts to excited ones... It's the difference between sadness and happiness - taken me 60 years to get that one!!! Best wishes, Teresa x
I have watched many videos and this one made me think about going out alone in my campervan. It just sits on the drive…I’ve been too anxious to take it out on my own. I’m going to work on my self confidence and hope next year I’ll give it a go. Thanks Teresa x
Had to think about that for a moment! 🤔 So only think about things you can sort... yep, that's a good one! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment Alan - best wishes, Teresa
You have had a long journey but hey Teresa,, you have completed it and overcome your anxiety, that's fantastic, and hope you have a wonderful life in your camper... I have a T4 and love it, new to it, and would be great to exchange ideas and tips since I have just restored mine. Bump into you somewhere no doubt that would be great. 👍
Hi andrewtaylor2921, thanks for watching. I attempt to 'manage' my anxieties, but it still grabs me when I least expect it. For example, I still don't think I'll make it to France in my camper this year... the thought of it just stresses me right now. I think I'm happy to keep the camper in the UK and go abroad in a simpler, less stressful way, such as with a solo travel company. But I never say never. 🤗
Thanks for watching. If it helps you in a tiny way, then it was worth sharing. You'll never cure anxiety, but you can learn ways of managing it. But I still can't see myself taking my camper to France, my anxieties are too great about that trip right now.
Hi Teresa. Well done your very brave! Changing the subject to van cover. I also have a trident. But with a fiamma Awning. Would the cover you use fit? Thku for your help. 😀👍
Hi Janet, I've answered your question under the Camper Cover video... Many thanks for watching this one, on anxiety - it comes under 'lifes stuff' as when the camper is in storage I do vids on all kinds of topics - from making a boiled fruit cake to laying stepping stones! 😁Best wishes, Teresa
Hi Theresa, I understand your anxiety for driving to France, it's a huge step, is there someone you can team up with maybe? I lived in Netherlands for some years and have driven all over Europe so find it second nature, it was scary at first I must admit. Do you frequent the south West of England, Devon or Cornwall maybe?
Thanks for watching and yes, France is still a big step for me - can't see me doing it this year tbh. Yes... I live in the South West of England... and yes, I've been to Devon a few times, but not Cornwall in the van yet.. though I have been to Cornwall, it gets busy. The book 'A History of England in 100 Places' gives me ideas for places to visit... Ive set myself a challenge to visit all 100 places... check out the Playlist to say where I've been to date. Thanks for watching TWorld... and taking time to comment. Much appreciated. 🚐

Sounds like it's taken a long while, but you are getting there. From now on, the only way is UP! Great suggestions for confronting anxiety. xx

Great videos Teresa but can you do a 10,000 calorie challenge next. Thanks
Hi Steddy04 - I'll always consider a collaboration video... does this mean I would be eligible to have a personal trainer for free?
