Sir i am an athelete and a MBBS student Recently i watched almost all of your videos I am a runner and powerlifter and to complete my daily protein requirement from vegeterian sources i have to eat a lot (to fullest of my stomach capacity every meal) My question after watching your video about THE PROTEIN MYTH and this video of eating half of appetite is.... 1st ....eating fruits for free amino acids and avoiding all protein diets to decrease protein digestive enzyme synthesis burden on protein reserves 2nd....for proper digestion , good health in long term i should eat half of my appetite ...........BUT ......... Are any of the above two conclusions practically possible for an athlete (myself imcluded) i run about 30 kms per week and do heavy weight lifting in gym If these methods possible even for an athlete What foods should i eat to fullfill my dietary requirement of AMINO ACIDS If i try to leave protein as nitrogenous substance source ... OR If not possible for an athelete Should i continue to use current diet of 120 gms of protein a day And assume my physical workouts will counter the ill effects of overeating
