- Kedarkantha is a wonderful trek, with pretty campsites and stunning 360-degree views of mountain summits.You will come across snow around 10,000 ft, lying on the forest floor among the pine trees.
The route to Sankri is one of the most beautiful drives in the Indian Himalayas. The temperature in Kedarkantha trek during the day will be at around 8-12 degrees and at night, the temperature will drop to -5 to -7 degrees.
Itinerary :
🏕 Day 1: Arrival in Sankri (6400 FT)
🏕Day 2: Sankri to Juda Ka Taal (9000 FT, 5 Km trek)
🏕Day 3: Juda ka Taal to Kedarkantha Base Camp (11,200 FT, 4 Km trek)
🏕Day 4: Kedarkantha Base Camp - Kedarkantha (12,500 FT) - Hargaon (8,450 FT, 6 Km trek)
🏕Day 5: Hargaon -Sankri (6 Km trek)

Which month trek this blog is about
Bhai we are palnning dec last week 2021. My only concern is will we be able to see summit? What's ur take? If not what is the best time as per your opinion?
Yes summit is possible throughout between Dec to March. Even in light snowfall conditions its totally doable. Summit is just 12,500 ft.
Only if it snows 2-3 days continuously or snow storm comes which happens very rare then only participants don't go on summit.
Also, as the summit is max 12,500 ft an experienced trekker can do it even harsh snowfall conditions.

Yes it's a good time for trek. We have batches on Jan 14, 21 and 31 which you can join. Currently there is no snow but chances are high in Jan 2nd week.
