Yeah I got one too they have a very good value especially given the price Note: I also used Evans System Blue as well as changed out the suspension ring and top rim for yamaha. It's functionally a yamaha for almost half the price.
@@JOEDYVIBESThomann had their own website, all their stuffs really inexpensive, without losing too much quality. Take that with a grain of salt though because I’ve never gotten percussion from them.
Pipe snares have snares on both heads, always have. The snare lines are often 10 deep & it’s the same drum as DCI, just comes with snares on top & bottom heads. The lever is new. Never seen that before on the top head. I think DCI will eventually do the same if they haven’t already. Much wetter of a sound.
It does indeed if you have the original Thomann -head. But he has changed to Remo Black Max, which completely changes the sound! I just did the same, and it's amazing!
proof than you can make any snare sound good with good heads
This is intriguing as fukk. Thanks for posting.
Make sure you keep those rolls open. Never let them get crushed.
i loved seeing this as a percussionist
Love the profile pic. I’m a percussionist too!!

Please more videos on this
The Kevlar head of the drum gives it a higher-pitched and shorter sound
Got the same drum, finally tuned it up and it sounds pretty good but nothing like how the blue devils snare drum sounds
You need a different head
You need a kevlar head to get that good articulation and DCi corps style sound

Barely hear a difference in snare response, make sure the guts are touching the bottom head
I think they might be too tight on and can’t vibrate
Wait. Can someone please explain what he did with the lever (not the snares one)
Can you make a tutorial how to tune the drum this way?🎉
what does that top lever on the side actually do?

Where did you get this snare
Germany Percussion Center „Thomann“ !!!
How long does the shipping take?
In Korea 2 week -4 week
Shouldn't it have sounded like a high tom with all the snares off? Not being snarky.

where did u buy this? could u tell me the store?

@@Schlagzeug_MW is it available in the philippines?
@@ifarted21times yes but only online
what is that knob near the head of the drum that you turn ?
Not shure I think it's some way to change the tightness of the snare wires
The lever on the top is to turn on or off the snares on the top.
It’s has double snares. The knob thing turns off or on the snares the brush against the batter head.
There are snares on the snare side and batter heads. The lower knob turns on the lower snares and the upper knob turns on the upper snares.
I know how to do a drum roll
