Uma dica muito importante pra você, está estrelinha chama pé de galinha e é muito comum estragar ele e a mangueira, essa peça é feito de ferro fundido, ele foi feito com intuito de não estragar o cabeçote e outra dica importante, evite usar água de torneira que contém muito cloro e usa água destilada com aditivo Bardahl azul, ele é inorgânico e conserva mais o sistema entre o Radiador, as mangueiras e o motor, de preferência sempre tenha em mãos essas peças com as mangueiras reserva, procure no link pelo MercadoLivre em peças do Dkw, o Graciano têm essas mangueiras novas e o pé de galinha em estoque. Cuide bem dos Dkws.

Thank you! Luckily the gentleman who owns this car has lots of spares and even had a spare "chicken foot" if it were to break. With DKWs it's important to always carry a box of spares! 😄

Correct, 50% mix of distilled water with antifreeze (the most common one here in USA is green) will help preventing rust and it should help with the engine temperature as well. My 2 cents! By the way, very nice scenery.
