I really love the way the dial is laid out on Sky-Dwellers. Agree with you that it’s probably too chunky. Honestly, it’s more the case height that concerns me rather than diameter. Although I hope they release it in smaller cases, I feel this may not actually happen. Great watch, nevertheless.
Hey I found weird machine sound on my sky dweller blue when i flip my hand up and down on my wrist a little faster. The sound is coming from something spinning inside. Do you find something like this on your watch?

The blue SS is the one to get. Totally agree about the size being overly large. Should have been 40mm dia, lug to lug 48mm and thickness at 12mm would be more appropriate. That said they can’t make them fast enough. The larger size doesn’t even begin to deter people from wanting one. I think the main reason your clients aren’t buying these as much as the Day Dates is the hefty premium. These are 60%+ over retail. A DD in many cases less than retail.
Not sure why people think the skydweller is too big. It’s a little chunky sure but the lug to lug span isn’t more than 50 millimeters. Anyone with a 6.5 inch wrist and up can pull it off. It might be a little top heavy but it’s a stunner on my wrist

A larger dial is obviously better for a person with failing eyesight. The people who your suggested customer base is are not 20 year olds, they are seasoned business veterans!
The biggest complication with Rolex is not the sky dwellers movement.....It's being able to buy a stainless steel watch from an AD without being blackmailed into buying multiple buys to enable you to buy your chosen watch. Rolex need to sort this cartell out and fine the AD's. or better still close them down
I received the call from my AD on mine last summer. Such a perfect piece...perfect size, stunning presence, and super useful complications.
