Audi TTRS Review - Everything You Need To Know About the Audi TTRS // Pros and Cons

  • This is the Audi TTRS. Boasting almost 400HP from a 2.5L 5 cylinder, this monster is pure insanity compared to the rest of the TT line up. Stiff suspension, light curb weight, and almost endless grip makes the TTRS a direct competitor to many other cars in its segment. If you are in the market for a BMW M2, Porsche 718, BMW Z4, Jaguar F Type, or some even say a Corvette… The Audi TTRS might be an option you want to consider. Watch and find out more. I detect a pun in what you said in a caption. "12 cubic feat". A feat is an accomplishment. Given how great the TTRS is, it is indeed a feat! Great video.

    Nice video. I think the car needs to be driven with the paddles in Manual Mode to really take advantage of that torque at ~ 2-3k rpm. My wife has a 2021 TTRS and it’s a little beast with that awesome 5 cylinder!

      Thank you I really appreciate it ! Yes, the paddle shifters definitely help you get that peak torque. The 5 cylinder is awesome. It has such a unique sound and feel.

    Literally my next car. We specialize in Honda J-series V6 engines but Honda has been losing us in recent years with the TLX, new Civic Type R no more Accord V6 (our 06 Accord is a 560whp 6spd) and the new 4 door integra 🤦 The 2.5l engine is a dream to make products for 🤙

    I'm glad you explained that 5 cylinders are not four or 6 or 8. I was real confused about that so thanks. 😐

    you got the haldex wrong bro, even the mk1 engaged depending on rpm, mid pull no slip on front the rear will still kick in, thats why haldex inserts were so popolar, less bleed more split

    Only one correction, you mention in the video that the engine is 2.0 Turbo, in this case because is the TT RS, the engine is the 5 cilindres but us 2.5 liters no 2.0

    @radosaw4935 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    5th generation haldex sends 10% of power to rear wheels all the time ;) so it`s not fwd most of the time it`s always 4x4 wheel drive 90% to 10%. You have audi rs3, rsq3, rsq3 sportback, rs4,rs5, rs5 sportback,rs6,rs7 ,rsq8, tt rs

    yeah I just watched i have a ttrs , not all info correct. it is in no way shape or form just front wheel drive most of the time. it is AWD all of the time . Audi still has the best rated Awd system. everyone else is playing catch up. yes great buy and great reliability. just do the reccomended matinence and you'll never go wrong , tough as hell. beat most all v8s and 5.0 litres off the line and every other category.
