    I like the subtle look of it.

    Your one of the first to love the elimination of the 2nd screen that is in the RS3. I'm with you on this, i love the simplicity of how driver focus this car is.

      It’s not necessary. Anyone who prefers a second screen has no sense of design.

    Update: Audi is offering the TTRS for 2022. Great video with superb narration and driving.

      That’s funny. How long will they keep making the thing? Another five years?

    Traded my beloved 2010 370Z NISMO for a 2019 TT RS and have mixed feelings. Overall the TT is a much better daily driver and it is a snow beast with Michelin Alpins. I almost instantly got rid of the 20” stock wheels as they looked nice, but were horrible on anything but perfectly paved roads.

    • @BrianMakse
      @BrianMakse  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Agreed. The wheels look so good that it's a horrible move to switch them out.

    Hi Brian, Great review. I have an 18 ttrs and switched to lightweight forged 19 inch wheels and michelin pilot sport 4s tires and it makes a huge difference in handling and comfort like you were saying it would.

      Great to hear, Warren! Pretty cool isn’t it?

    • @shimshonbendan8730

      Yes, 19" that are lighter along with 265/35/19 tires is a tremendous improvement.

    Brian, are you sure they're discontinuing this beauty? It's a true compact european sportscar. What a shame...

      It will still be available as a MY2021, per the May 2020 Audi Newsroom press release. 2021 is definitively the last for the model, though. There are no announced plans for a next gen version.

    2021 should be the last run if they’re saying the end is 2022..

    An ECU upgrade with APR will get back the missing exhaust crackles.

      APR solves many problems.

    I'm guessing no viewers believe the TT is a large car at 10:07 (believe it or not)

    I wish Audi had positioned this car differently from start. Something to compete with mini and Miata pricing, with 2.0 turbo and just a manual or simple automatic. No fancy interior. I think Audi tried to position this to compete with Porsche Cayman or Corvette, and at those prices no one takes it seriously. Definitely not in America where for less money you can get a V8 Mustang GT or Challenger HEMI. At least mini is still being built.

      Paul M ....a Mustang GT isn’t a match at all vs. TT RS! Neither in straight line, nor on the track.... so what?🤔

      The statement says more about "Mr." Clarkson than it does about the car.

    • @markphillips116
      @markphillips116 5 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Pathetic joke that doesn't wash anymore, even with Clarkson - as he's on record as saying that the Mk 3 TT is a very decent sports car. He even went on to say it was the best car Audi currently make. Try driving one and you might find yourself agreeing with him.
