What we should also take from this scene is how traumatized the Younglings will be after Grevious ordered the bombardment. Mostly because Jedi, or Force sensitives, can feel the deaths of others through tremors in the Force. I cannot imagine the Girl's pain knowing that she might have caused it in some way with her escape attempt. But not likely. She was a strong one. She was instantly my favorite character in the comic next to the General. Mostly because she was a true Jedi in my book. It's just a shame she didn't get a chance to grow up after Order 66...

In legends, Lumiya made a point to tell Jacen Solo(?) that the ability to manipulate the Force relied upon organic matter. If an individual were to have a significant portion of their body replaced by cybernetics or prosthesis, their powers would wane drastically (or, as drastically as allowed by the laws of Legends!EU, where Palpatine was the equivalent of Frieza and Luke could at times equal Goku). In particular, Lumiya could use Force Meditation, but she could not single-handedly influence battles the way Yoda or Palpatine could.

Y'all too young for this shit. Imma let you slide this one time. " return them back to the order? 😂😂😂😂would have dumbfucked the Jedi so hard. 😂" did general grievous just give us back a couple of kids? "😂 like I said though, as to what he actually was gonna do with them, it shouldn't have surprised me. When Grievous is said to be a soulless machine and monster, he's literally just that. It's what makes him so scary and even more awesome than what we got in the animated series. (not the 2003 one. Talking about the one that followed.)
Great potential for good, Grievous has. Twice as many hugs, the cyborg general can give.
He might have seen making them his warriors rather than killing them as a mercy. He was a Kaleesh warrior who hated fighting alongside droids instead of real warriors.
Same. An honour bound warrior culture would not kill the young of an enemy.
Honestly I consider the smaller things grievous did in legends canon, not the huge game changing things, but small things like this.

Comic Grievous: "Your fate will be little different than the path the Jedi set for you"
Lore Master: "Grievous mocked the younglings by telling them their new fates would be quite different than what the Jedi order had in mind."
Uhhhh, you straight up contradicted the source material you had on screen, mate???
He probably misread as "your fate will be A little different......" That "A" makes a difference, still... Stupid error....
I actually wanted to see Grievous' youngling cyborgs in action.
they'd probably have a better life than they would as slaves to the corrupt jedi order
Honestly I just wanted it to turn into one of those filler arcs where Grievous just wanted to be a dad and used the experiments as an excuse to keep the younglings. I would have loved if it just took a completely different direction from the usual and followed Greivous’ life as a single father who has to balance home life with leading a droid army in the middle of a galaxy wide conflict.
@Nkosi Johnson-Thornton Ey, that would be a turn to some good-ish stuff.
@@revanruler6404 you right
Especially since unlike him they would be force-sensitive. Not that much after the process was over but still moreso than Grievous.
Wow. I guess Anakin must really be a monster, if even Grievous didnt try to kill them

@@Raving_Rando But arguably, it *made* the clones and Anakin. It's complicated, the series gave a whole lot of quality content that really positively expanded the Star Wars universe... But it also made Grievous shitty and uninteresting. I'd say net positive, overall, but not without flaws.

Phantom Foxy cool stories aren’t allowed in star wars.
Why can't we have more grievus like this hopefully in the new season
Probably not because the new season has only 13 new episodes and they will most likey be about Mandalore, Ahsoka, Maul and some new Charakters. So sadly the canses are low that we will see him. (Sorry for my bad English)
It's ok
I have a feeling he will still be in the new season to some degree, just not the main focus. And considering how he became more menacing as the series progressed, he will probably be pretty badass when he does make an appearance.
I've actually heard that some of the reasons Clone Wars ended was because it was getting more and more violent

If only Grievous could catch a Jedi and inject midichlorians into his own bloodstream.
Legend says that he once tried to gain force sensitivity through the blood of a deceased Jedi master named Sufo-Dyas.
Angry Garbanzo there actually was an experiment to make him force sensitive with Jedi DNA, but it was unsuccessful

Good luck to all of you...

My condolences as well.
huh, what?
Umm can you explain who that is please I don't know sorry
What we should also take from this scene is how traumatized the Younglings will be after Grevious ordered the bombardment. Mostly because Jedi, or Force sensitives, can feel the deaths of others through tremors in the Force. I cannot imagine the Girl's pain knowing that she might have caused it in some way with her escape attempt. But not likely. She was a strong one. She was instantly my favorite character in the comic next to the General. Mostly because she was a true Jedi in my book. It's just a shame she didn't get a chance to grow up after Order 66...
So if he had succeeded in his plans there could of been multiple force sensitive grievouses going around.
That would be extremely terrifying
Everytime I come back to this but can't help to think how wholesome the Mini-Grievous idea is despite how gruesome the details actually are.
Not knowing much about star wars, I really enjoy watching videos like these because they cover background stories/events/lore. General Grievous is such an interesting character. Great video by the way :)

Shadman: this is where the fun begins
I’m actually curious as dooku about cyborg Sith warriors
In legends, Lumiya made a point to tell Jacen Solo(?) that the ability to manipulate the Force relied upon organic matter. If an individual were to have a significant portion of their body replaced by cybernetics or prosthesis, their powers would wane drastically (or, as drastically as allowed by the laws of Legends!EU, where Palpatine was the equivalent of Frieza and Luke could at times equal Goku). In particular, Lumiya could use Force Meditation, but she could not single-handedly influence battles the way Yoda or Palpatine could.
@Alptraum hmm... fair point wish we got to explore those paths
@@davidhong1934 well in legends (swtor, kotor...) cyborgs actually can use the force (darth skotia for example), also darth vader was a cyborg so your point is kind of invalid

"General Grievous, there are too many of them, what are we going to do"

I remember when this comic came out. Grievous sent shivers down my spine when I read this, and this video brought those shivers back.
I remembered this was the first comic where Grievous was shown to use some force powers in combat, hinting the rumor that he had a blood transfusion from the body of Sifo-Dyas, a procedure that Count Dooku ordered.
I always felt General Grievous was more like Coran Horn a Force user. And felt he used it during battles , but lacked the abilities to push or pull upon objects around him. Merely affecting the outcome ahead of time by a slight margin giving him an edge.
5:41 Anakin: *This is where the fun begins*
Imagine going to a battle, and an entire squad of mini Grievouses were facing you.
I'd just surrender right then and there.
At 1:36, it should be that Grevious said their fates would be little different than the path the Jedi set for them, rather than “quite different” as said in the video
Yeah that was a mistake on my part by misreading that, ill be adding a note correcting it when I have the chance :)

Same here too General Grievous is my favorite character too.
I dunno about you, But I kinda wished that the younglings didn't escape... what he had intended for them seems quite interesting.
