What if I’ve done my A Level exams now and I don’t really think I done well :( . Can I still become an accountant with grades DDC/CCD or CCC if I’m lucky? Or do employers not like that despite having an accounting degree? There’s no way I can retake because I hate my sixth form a lot and I made no friends
Yes you can to register for ACA / ACCA you need pass grades in two a levels if I’m recalling correctly deffo check on the websites - and that is A-E. You should focus on securing an apprenticeship local to you there will be organisations who will take you on if you don’t have the best a level grades. It may just be a longer journey to becoming chartered.
Salam Mr khan Can u make video about this i’m planning to to do a level 3 accountancy apprenticeship with this can i later on do a degree apprenticeship/ level 7 degree. I’m not fully sure what to do can u suggests to what to do i don’t know if i should finish my a level or do an apprenticeship idk which would be a better choice Thank Mr Khan
Wa alaykum as salam it depends on if you meet the entry requirements for the level 7 degree apprenticeship which you may not if you just have a level 3 apprenticeship but requirements could be flexed if you have relevant experience, it depends entirely on the scheme and employer. To play it safe I always say complete a levels or btec and then apply to apprenticeships - a lot more options will open up.
@@FehzanMehdi I am predicted A A A in business economics and accounting can i get an level 7 apprenticeship i’m confused because i also don’t have any work experience i don’t know i’m not sure if i will get accepted with out any experience because most of the companies requires you to have at-least some previous experience. Can you suggest me something i should do to from now on to get into a level 7 apprenticeship
You’ll be fine you start applying in September of year 13 to then start the role in the September after you receive your a level results. You don’t need prior work experience.
You'd have to check individual college / school requirements. If grades are 1s and 2s maybe worthwhile retaking Maths and English so you have a pass grade (4) and that will open up more opportunities for you.
@@explanationforeverything wa iyaak study whatever you’re going to get the best grades in - good grades matter more than studying “tough” subjects. It doesn’t matter if they’re similar subjects even if it’s business economics and accounting. They’re similar but if you’re going to get good grades in those then go for it…
Wa alaykum as Salam first time I’ve heard that term it depends is this after all the application stages have taken place? In any case I’d say still go prepared and treat it like an assessment
Asalaamualykum, I messed up my first year of a levels and now had to resit the first year and I’m going to finish it soon Inshallah however I don’t really like the idea of carrying in into year 13 and wanted to do a level 4 apprenticeship, do you think it if possible.
Wa alaykum as Salam I haven’t come across a level 4 apprenticeship for straight after gcses. My advice is carry on with a levels if you can or if you don’t want to then look at level 3 apprenticeships.
If it’s a degree apprenticeship then your employer will pay for your degree and yes it’s alongside your apprenticeship. However, if it’s an apprenticeship and you want to study for a degree on the side then this is unlikely as both require full time commitment.
Not quite sure what you’re referring to but if you mean you’re not currently at college and don’t want to I’d look at distance learning / self study options
That's some useful information. Keep it up brother 👍
Thank you bro

Can you progress onto a level 6 apprenticeship after doing a level 3 post gcse
Yes you can however you may find opportunities are limited as many level 6/7 apprenticeships require a levels or btec
AAT level 2, 3 and 4 should be done in a 3 year apprenticeship.
Yes that’s possible
I'll be getting £300 a week at the Royal botanical gardens Kew
Thank you for sharing apprenticeships are popping up everywhere now
Hi thanks for the video can you get into btech if the GCSE's scores are really low in the range of 1s & 2s?

As-Salamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah. What a levels would you require to do for an Accounting apprenticeship?
Wa aalykum as Salam no specific a levels needed just avoid general studies

How many passing gcses do you need for a average companies level 6 degree apprenticeship
Many will require atleast 5 GCSEs with a pass grade in Maths and English
@@FehzanMehdi so 3 other gcses pass and english , maths with a specific grade or passing grqde
