Comparing the NX350 F-Sport would be the better comparison. Seems like you have a lower trim NXh vs a A Spec RDX.
    A few things to note:
There is remote start functionality on the key fob. Press the lock button 4 times and it will remote start.
They do offer electronic folding back seats in higher trims if you feel that you don't like where they have the lever.
There are heated rear seats offered in higher trims as well.
Heads up display is offered in higher trims.
The shifter is the same to the original Prius offered 20 years ago - yes it's not the same as other shifters, but many it's not the first vehicle with the same shifter style.
Not sure why you say the plugin hybrid soon it will be available as it's been available a year ago
This generation NX was redesigned in 2022 and not 2023.

I would take the Lexus, I like the looks better, that green is amazing. The easier infotainment is a huge deal for me, and it also gets better fuel economy, I don't think sportiness is a huge priority in this segment but the RDX definitely takes the cake for that one. The NX doesn't handle bad just not as good as the RDX, but I think it makes up for it in other places. Just like you said the Lexus offers a heads-up display and heated rear seats, you just have to option it one by one Ultimately you can't go wrong with either one, both are really good SUVs. Keep up the good work Sam, loving the back-to-back reviews

While I like the Lexus, I feel like the interior is caving in on me at 6 feet tall. You are correct in that the seat is positioned too high. I find this to be the case in most Toyota/ Lexus crossovers and cars. I have lowered the seat all the way down in every vehicle and my head only has less than 2" from hitting the roof. I'm looking at the headliner out the windshield. Just feels cramped for me. Wish I was just a little shorter as I would 100% buy the Lexus. Guess I'm relegated to a Highlander hybrid. Didn't want to buy a boat but it is what it is.

Same. I test drove both the NX and the RDX. In the NX my head hit the visor while I was getting in the car. Given, someone shorter must have sat in the car before me but this has never happened to me in any other vehicle. The RDX immediately feels more roomy. I also don't like being nickled and dimed like Lexus likes to do. I did like the feel of Lexus but didn't like how loud it was inside the vehicle. At the moment, it seems the RDX is going to be my next vehicle.

Hi I think the NX you had was pretty low spec other than the 14 inch touch screen. Go up the spec and you get power fold rear seat backs, heated rear seats, heads up display, Mark Levinson stereo and far nicer wheels. Plus remote start, self park. you can even park it remotely from outside the vehicle with the app, useful in a very tight garage space.

Have yet to play around with it, but one thing that I didn’t think of before purchasing the car was how annoying it’s going to be to explain to people how to get in and out of the car as well as how to use the shift knob. This especially true when you have to take out for maintenance/repairs. Technology is great and all, but it can also be too much. Anyways, I’m still excited for it to arrive! :)

Even though the Acura has an ancient touchpad and gets disappointing MPG on premium fuel I would still go with the RDX. I don't like front grill design on the Lexus and find it polarizing. Also the Lexus uses the same platform as the 4 year old Toyota RAV4 while the Acura"s platform was designed specifically for the RDX. The NX comes with run flat tires that tend to be noisier and expensive to replace.

I test drove both, quality was in the lexus. Shifter easy to use I don't know what your talking about. Rdx felt cheap and wasn't as nice as a drive. HUD wasn't as nice as the lexus. I bought the lexus when it came down to it.

So actually in all the NX's they come standard with remote start. You press the lock button twice and hold it on the 3rd press for 2-4 seconds

I love both companies and currently drive an Acura MDX but last gen. The RDX is a bit worse than its competition imo but the MDX does much better in its class, while Lexus has the body-on-frame stuff. Once you get into Hybrids or Sedans, the former goes to Lexus, the latter it depends what you want. As with most things lol.

the mdx is huge! For a single person the RDX is ideal.

    • @hi_tech_reptiles
      @hi_tech_reptiles ปีที่แล้ว +1

@user-st1hy6ql3j I agree it is huge! But driving it itd not as big as I expected. I'm single and live alone but wanted the room to haul things for my animals (reptile keeping, large enclosures etc) and having something with a lot of room can be useful for a single person, able to haul stuff on your own. That said, the RDX or RX 350 are great and smaller for those that want em, still with some solid power to haul and even tow small loads like a jetski or something lol.

Wouldn't the Lexus RX be more comparable to the RDX? I always been a Acura fan...best bang for your buck! Plus more features are standard with Acura than Lexus. I have a 22 RDX and love it!

I test drove a 2019 RDX and bought a 2018 RDX because I didn't like the turbo, CVT , and I hated the control ad for the screen. I also hate the A-Spec where every thing was ugly black including the wheels. I also hated the red color seats.
The only thing I liked about the NX was the more comfortable seats..NX is also too small. I would never buy an electric or hybrid car.
RDX should have compared to the Lexus RX350 for comparable size.
