Ok about that lollipop seconds hand. People have really been vocal in saying they hate it until I explain that when viewed from directly above the dial the ball end of the seconds hand looks like a roulette ball in play moving around the seconds track which evoke the design of the roulette wheel. This is a direct homage to the first Bond film "Casino Royale" (the Connery one). Now that you know this it will never look the same again.
These are finally becoming available for decent prices pre-owned. Thinking of pulling the trigger next month for my birthday. I plan to swap out the bracelet for a the blue rubber strap.
Got mine yesterday of my mate. He just can't get along with it,wrist too small 😂. Almost new condition and price i just couldn't resist🥳 I just love it! Im not a diver and have no problem with the bracelet. Im not even a James Bond fan😂😂 but watch is great and i love it
I've owned this watch for a few months now and love it. Bracelet is a little stiff at first but then it conformed a bit better and is extremely comfortable.
You should try the short version of the strap, it will bend much better and will be less bulky under the clasp. The standard one is very long for small / normal wrist sizes.
@@OneManReviewsyeah, 39mm case\46mm l to l\ 11 cm thick would be perfect. And a 20\16 mm bracelet. Also, I bought a brown dial baby alpinist based on your glowing reviews. Thanks!
I’m happy with my current OSMP 300. I put it on a strap with on the fly adjustment and it rocks. And a date is useful! I use it all the time. What’s with this get rid of the date feature?
Hey Neighbor, Great video, I love this watch, the animation on the back is funny and a great touch! Not a big fan of the bracelet. Is the bezel ceramic? Looks like aluminum! Cheers!
Thanks for the video. I love the watch and I like the look of mesh bracelets, but I don't like this pairing. Something doesn't look right. It looks like the original bracelet broke and the owner had this mesh sitting around, so they threw this on as a short term fix.
Problem with this watch is there's no zero point on the bezel. I understand that they're saluting the 60th anniversary of some James Bond movie, but getting rid of the pointed triangle with the cental loomed pip and replacing it with a number 60 that's indistinguishible from the other numbers on the bezel is nuts. I think it even fails the international standard for a dive watch. I don't want to have to read numbers when I set the bezel or give it a quick glance. I want there to be a graphically visible origin point.
+1 waiting for this dial but with applied logo, red lettering seamaster, red tip to second hand and regular bond bracelet. Plus not such a boxy sapphire. Flatter like 2018 SMP. And back to lume pip in triangle bezel That would be awesome and my grail watch. Phylida make the exact watch I wish Omega would.
I hate the back of the 60th. I have the NTTD and it’s just perfect apart from not being able to see the dial in poor lighting. I like the front of the 60th and the ease of reading it. The perfect bond watch would be the NTTD with better legibility in poor lighting. The titanium is perfect case for it.
@OneManReviews it's ultimately why I said no to the watch. The clasp is poorly done and looks untidy. I'd expect a higher standard for the money Omega want.
The effectively non function bezel scallops is one of the many reason to not buy this watch. It's a toy. I wanted one of the 90's models for years and years, then I finally got one, and I never wear it because it just isn't good.
@@SB-Kiwi to each their own, I like much about the Seamaster, but I cannot un-see that wort. (Fwiw many other brands have disguised the release valve, flush to the case) I appreciate your passionate reply.
Pulled the trigger on this today. Stunning watch
That's so cool. Congratulations on a great watch!

The blue won't match. Look at the Artem sailcloth strap. It's fits way better.
@@SB-Kiwi I have a FF with a sailcloth, so I don't want the SM to have sailcloth.
Yep I think these can be purchased with some discount pre-owned now. That's a very nice watch to have.

Thanks for your owners' feedback on the watch. Glad to hear that the bracelet is conforming to a wrist.
@@OneManReviews No problem!

Didn't have a chance to try the short version. I think it could be more comfortable to wear.
@@OneManReviews I would simply opt for a steel UncleSeiko bracelet.
I love this watch especially on a nice sunny day.
For the seamaster redesign we need a smaller and thinner case and a tapering bracelet.
Agree. A midsize version would be cool.
And still automatic, not just quartz

I am ok with the diameter but I totally agree with the thickness.
Buy a ladies watch
I own a normal blue Seamaster prof 300 and I wear mines daily. Checks all the boxes and is much more interesting than my submariner
That's a great daily!
What does the top left bit do? The right bit pulls out and changes time but what does the top left thing do?

Thank, man. Appreciate the support. Yes it's an aluminium bezel.
love it !
Thanks 🙏🏻
Some brands like to have unlimited number of limited editions
It's not a limited edition.

I love the older Seamaster bracelets. They are so comfortable.

NTTD is a great watch. Did a review on it also.
Ouch!!
Its too thick and the clasp is too bulky. Good looking watch though
Two very valid concerns.
@OneManReviews it's ultimately why I said no to the watch. The clasp is poorly done and looks untidy. I'd expect a higher standard for the money Omega want.
That bracelet is horror, can't believe Omega did such a bad job on it!
It's not the most comfortable bracelet indeed.
Omega bracelet pain continues as always 🤦🏻♂️
They upgraded bracelets for Aquaterra and Speedster - maybe we will see the new one for Seamaster also.

And use liquid nitrogen on the wort top left 😂 if other brands can disguise that release valve then Omega can too 👃👀
I actually have no problem with that sticking helium escape valve. To me it's a distinguished Seamaster 300 feature :)
It's part of what makes the Seamaster the Seamaster. Get over it or look elsewhere.
