Red means the dme can't communicate with said module either due to a modification or component failure that was coded in the dme to have it. You can code the model out of the dme and it will no longer appear on the tree, or obviously replace the module and code the vin to the replaced module rectifying the problem and it will be green again on the tree.
Reverse light error, frm turns the circuit off. Ncs expert toolset 32, frm exu file reset counter. Well documented on the internet. Great ISTA show and tell 👏 👌
auc is the automatic air recirculation sensor. It often fails. Can be replaced cheap and is located next to the interior / cabin filter under the hood.
5:35 We actually say milage I think... I'm from Denmark and we are quite EN-US, EN-UK confused and to add to confusion UK uses miles not KM like rest of europe .. In my language "kilometerstand" - directly translated "state of kilometers". BTW: I would like to have that ISTA+..
Lol yeah I bet that does get confusing with the U.K. I figured you guys said mileage but didn’t know for sure. I’ll update the description with the link for ISTA+ in a bit.
Hey thanks for this video, You mention at one point that you had an error related to the level sensors for the adaptive LED lights. I have this warning on my BMW I3 but the lights seems to be working fine. Can you let me know how you disabled this error. I see it on the dash all the time. Thanks....
Hallo bro i hope you can upload more of this test videos on ista,do you had this problem on inpa i have same version you use from bimmer some times it give me faultcodes in german language is it normal do you face this also sometimes ,thanks
@@BMWE90HQ ok great, thank you! In the past I tried to install inpa. I ran into some problems.. do you a suggestion for a video that shows inpa installation?
If I remember correctly they all are pretty bad but I think I can come up with something in the near future on how to do it. I looked at literally every guide out there before I got it working.
Bro why my millage in the cluster is different from the one showing in ISTA ? My cluster is showing 146...and ista is telling me is 235 i am kind of confuse .
@@BMWE90HQ cool thanks I got it to work on my n52 e90 with inpa and ista....thanks, I think I need to buy another cable with switch if I want to use this sw on my e46, did you load up the e89 sp daten files as well?
It’s really possible your frm module has internal short and starting to fail. I work for BMW and we see a lot of them go bad, you might want to check your local dealership and have them run your VIN to see if your vehicle has a warranty extension on the frm module.
Yes that is the one I used. Once you open it it will be ISTA+ it’s ISTA-D in the sense it doesn’t have ISTA-P. I’m going to try to find that one somewhere. I’m sure it’s on the forums somewhere.
ista+ has to be downloaded / purchased elsewhere. It is in general free, but I have yet to find a free download for ISTA+ I have ISTA+ because i purchased it from www.bimmerdiagnostics.com/

Hello! I have an f02. Do you prefer ISTA or INPA for diagnosing issues? Thank you

Will, is it possible to independently clear ISTA fault codes specifically selected? What is the process?
I heard about DIS as well looks similar, please look it up and do a video about it when you get a chance, thanks for the great videos!

Can you do a ista install video? And add some links?
Yeah I can but you have to install inpa (or at least the underlying files) so it basically is the same thing once inpa works ISTA is a breeze.

@@BMWE90HQ thanks again that would be great. Yeah most of the videos I watched were pretty confusing. Not exact enough.
Does your cable have a switch or not?
What obd 2 your use?
Hi, thanks for the video. Can you tell me what version of Windows you are using?
Hi, GREAT VIDEO. Can ISTA D update the ECU with ENET cable in F25 car? Thank You

K+dcan cable👍🏻
Did you have a battery charger hooked up while you scanned your modules?
Yes I did.

So does your cable have a switch on it or not? Just curious that and which one you use thanks
No it does not and it is the one from Bimmergeeks.net
