I have been watching video coverage of this show from the other side of the pond for a number of years. It always looks like such a spectacular show. Perhaps one that would be worthy of a trip built around this show in the future.
Some lovely new examples here and the star of them all for has to be the BMW, absolutely beautiful. However, as said, the Jag MK rod was extremely well done and very effective!
I've recently developed a hankering for a Lynx Eventer - had a V12 H.E as a student about 20 years ago and was very sad the day it got scrapped! Would've undoubtedly been saved today.
Great job Joe and camera person. Hard to condense such an enormous show into 9 minutes but you gave us a bit of everything. The Camargue were seen as odd ball and ugly in the day but are now very desirable. Didn’t realise until recently that they were inspired by the Fiat 130 coupe. Now I can see similarities everywhere.
Well...that was an express video. Well done to you and the cameraman. As a former Metro owner I favoured the one there with 3000 miles on the clock. I know where I am with an Austin A+ engine. Cheap and cheerful.
Great video, Joe. It's nice to see the Trabant and Wartburg getting respect. It would have been a shame for all of these cheap Eastern European cars to have been lost. Cheers from Christchurch NZ.
My dad, many, many, many years ago, almost bought a Talbot Mantra. Luckily enough myself and my brother suggested that he'd be better off with a wheelbarrow. So he bought a Citroen GS Estate instead. We wanted him to buy a Porsche! 🤔😲 ☹
I did like that Mk7 Jag rod. Call it heresy if you like, but I'd love to see some of the other classic cars with nice lines rodded e.g. Riley RMB, Triumph Mayflower. better than ending up as a pile of rust on the ground.
I've been going there for years, I went this time but could only go for the Saturday, because the show the parking and travelling cost to much, I'm 62 but there were a lot of young people around, now i think it's for the rich😢
I love the fact that the “star of the show” is different for just about every person that comments. Which is exactly why a show of this size exists. A show featuring just one make & model would be incredibly boring to me, even if the particular make & model happened to be one that I favor. For car guys (or petrol heads as you like to call them), variety truly is the spice of life.

No doubt it would be an excellent idea but allow at the very least minimum two days
All outstanding
Stunning Camargue
Many thanks for an excellent interview
I’m with you on that Lynx Eventer 🥰

Great to see you on stage with Auto Alex.
Thanks, really enjoyed it! -Joe

Thanks Peter - it's so rakish for a Rolls, particularly of that era!

Thanks Roy! We've done a video with that very Metro: th-cam.com/video/rIf7ALqLu1k/w-d-xo.html
The Rancho is one of the coolest cars ever made.

Thanks John, a bit of me wants a Trabant! -Joe
I will take the Silver Shadow PLEASE!
Love that Camargue, although you've been listening to too many of Phil's Dad jokes 😅

The mk 7 jaguar is stunning ,it takes a heck of loads more skill to work out the build ,than to restore to origanal.
Ive lifted a Rolls Royce Camargue Door ,they are ridiculously heavy

the NEC, just outside Birmingham...
Not many young people at this event, are classic cars only appreciated by those of us who can remember them in their hey day.

What date was this shot ?
Mike Brewer eh...I bet that Metro is worth about 7 bags of sand😂😂
I used to go but it is just to expensive now £40.00 plus £18.95 parking............ I used to laugh at the £38.00 odd top gear live price........

That's why we love it, so much diversity!
I can be live how attractive an estate jaguar xjs is. Considering how ugly the fast back saloon was, how did jaguar miss the boat???
Any leads on the Jaguar Mk7 2 door build ?
I can’t seem to find anything else on Utube about it
