    One way u could improve on your videos is to add the top speed, weight and torque figures of the cars. Love your content as always, thank you!

    Love the Celica t sport, good entry sports car! It doesn't suffer from the pre cat issue mentioned, that was specific to the MR2 mk3

    Great video and some of my favourite cars. Always wanted an RX-8 but never actually got around to buying one. On the Alfa question - GT or Brera - I have driven both in 3.2 V6 form and owned the GT 3.2 V6 for several years. The GT 3.2 has the wonderful Busso engine which the Brera doesn't. The GT also handles a lot better and is better build quality in general. They are both getting old though and the GT suffers from floor pan rust issues so be careful. The GT clutch is also not great for reliability. I'm not sure about the Brera floor pan. My TT MK2 was a nice car when it worked, but watch out for the CDAA engine and excessive oil consumption. Looking forward to another video on this topic at £10K....

      my Dad was one of the first people to get an RX-8, he loved it. Very smooth and progressive power delivery all the way to about 9000rpm, nice steering and gearbox, very good handling, and carried 4 people though the back was a bit claustrophobic. Engines are prone to flooding if you aren't careful so read up on how to avoid that!

    Im currently binge watching your videos as im getting ready to buy a new car as im starting my first graduate job in january. I'm gonna have to be doing a lot more motorway miles so looking for something a bit more enjoyable to drive than my current 2010 1.4 Seat Ibiza. Decent car considering the price I paid but a bit boring xD

    "Did someone sit on your Mini?"
    Got to be the C30 T5 or 330Ci, although a Celica is never a bad choice. The RCZ is the sexiest, but it's got to be an R with one of those.

    In 2002 someone I know very well bought a brand new Mercedes CL500 back then it was over £74 grand, he still has the car as he says it would kill him to think what he would get for it. He still has a 2 door Mercedes an E400 d coupe. The Hyundai they look great but for the performance.and Tax of £675 a year you would have to be nuts to consider it over the 140bhp 2.0L.

  • @BlackLines

    330ci or Brera for me. Maybe the Volvo if it had an aggressive kit on it.

    Man those old rx8's have gone up massively in price. Not even a year ago you could pick one up working (lol) with decent bodywork and service history for less than 1.5k. Could get a broken one on its last legs for £500 and get it rebuilt to perfect spec for £2000. So sad :(

  • @OriginalOwner777
    @OriginalOwner777 ปีที่แล้ว

    The problem that causes reliability issues on the RX 8 is down to it being overtuned and thus as most drivers never burn off the carbon build up in the rotary engine. If you regularly take it to the redline and hold it there for a while the engine will run much hotter and then burn off the carbon dramatically improving the reliability. This is a known issue with all rotary engines. Especially when they are tuned to a higher output than what such a small engine should put out.

    the mini coupe just doesn't look right. the back end's too high up imo, and the roof don't flow with the car very well
