I hope you get the views that would encourage you to do more of the JWB rebuttals because this was excellent.
It's unbelievable how they relentlessly pound on the last days topic. For 130 years they've been doing this, going as far as to pick specific years through their history that they've prophesied would be the end. They've learned from those mistakes and now simply keep droning on.
When anyone refers to a scripture regarding this, it is just so obvious that the message was for an audience that existed 2000 years ago. In no other context, aside from religion, does anyone go back in time to check the news and then expect that event to happen now. It's just crazy, and that particular belief isn't unique to JWs, it's Christianity as a whole.

I’ve been confidently out for five years. As a kid, my mom used to tell me that her father would tell her Armageddon would happen before she graduated high school, in 1977. I remember the day and video I watched that solidified my permanent exit from the cult. Thank you Lloyd, you have saved many of our lives. I hope to have the balls to do an interview with you someday soon.

Amazing, how most JWs can’t see how they are being misled. It is so easy to recognize now with these dumbed down talks! It did, in fact, help me immensely in my “waking up” process.
I spit out my iced tea, when I saw the end of the broadcast (56 minutes in) with the music video! 😆 It makes me crazy that they have the easy app to look up their propaganda, but when I was a little kid, I was expected to know the scriptures by heart and look it up quickly from the NWT! This is the easy peasy JW era, mine was brutal in the 70's-early 2000's. I really enjoy these rebutals, they give me the giggles. So glad I left in 2007!

As time passes since Morris got the boot, I only get more curious about what the hell happened there. It's amazing that they banded together and ousted one of their own with such venom. Darn that NDA.

A form of hypnotism is saying the same thing over and over to your audience. Just start paying attention to how many things are repeated as far as following the governing body, listening to the governing body, do what we say even if it don’t make sense.
10 years ago I was so excited about this, learning and singing the songs… but after a few episodes I started considering them so boring, so long, just one more thing to do with so little time that I already had. I can’t understand how I could believe all of this.
Great video, really highlighted what this org is all about.
I want to say that I was around in 1975 and remember the articles and the way things were phrased. They rarely said the words "the end is in 1975" but what they did was stress that it was significant (that turned out well, now it is absolutely meaningless). I remember hearing folks being criticised for getting married as what was the point? On top of that if the enemies at the tribulation managed to arrest you both then they could use the other person as collateral to make you lose faith. Yes that really was said! As for having children! When the greatest tribulation is about to start? That shows a severe lack of faith! Anyone getting married or having kids were seen as "weak" and shouldn't be the people we were to spend a lot of time with. That was my experience!
Just around the time I started making my way out in the mid to late 1980s they changed tack again saying that anyone who was alive at 1914, even a baby counted as being part of the "generation who saw the beginning", which even though not fully out didn't make sense but I went with it for a while. Although the org didn't specifically say this it was implied that in 1984 that generation (including babies) would be a minimum of "3 score years and ten" and others in their "special mightiness" so the end had to be closer than ever! They had me so convinced I tried to stop someone leaving that was a friend by pleading with them to stay. I was THAT indoctrinated. Glad to say that person ignored me, just as well! Think if they had stayed and were stuck in I would feel guilty as hell for them missing out on life.
On a more humorous note, the music videos. Do you think we will ever get a progressive death metal song? Just to say if they do can you get it up here as soon as possible as I want to see THAT😂!

It was nice to see another longer rebuttal. Although I've never been a JW, I like to listen to your comments. That's absolutely true, that they shamelessly manipulate people when they are in their vulnerable moments. It was really triggering.

Wow Lloyd… I’ve been watching you for over 10 years and I almost puked when I saw this… Troy is my cousin and it’s like watching an Alien version of him!! I’ve been out for @25 years now and it wasn’t pretty in the beginning but things have calmed down but I can assure you he wasn’t always vane and pompous but I guess all the brain washing works… so sad… keep up the good work Lloyd… we need you!!

2.42 I remember seeing Anthony Morris the Third (Lord 'elp us) on video in 2017 saying that Jehovah’s new system was 'imminent'. He said this at the Don't Give Up assembly. Perhaps the leadership and their lackies have re-defined the word 'imminent' to mean something else and haven't bothered telling us because we don't have the right to know

Loved the video. Just thought it worth mentioning. At 47:52 the video wasn't instruction on how to preach, its instruction on how to encourage other pimis, hence, iron sharpens iron.
Interesting that Troy Snyder quotes 2 Timothy 3:13 (NIV) "while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived" - surely this can apply to Watch Tower, certainly as being "imposters"?
I’m 65 now n I’m talking from personal experience and what JWs have done to me n my entire family is too disturbing and sick to even text about! I believe in just saying it like it is but I can’t even do that! Something has to be done about these monsters. Please!😞😞😞

As a former JW, & current EMS worker, I can tell you honestly…I’m less stressed now than I was then. No doubt bad things happen all the time. So do good things. The constant dread instilled in JWs is what makes them so tired & anxious all the time. Sad.

Human behaviour. With all those big egos there has GOT to be infighting problems and factions. History teaches that they will implode or explode into a fatal demise of some type. The more of them involved I believe it wilm happen sooner rather than later.
