Great music never dies. The Bee Gees we're already a world wide success for about 10 years before the word Disco was even created. This music just happened to be what they were working on when the director was searching for a soundtrack to Saturday Night Fever and the Bee Gees agreed to have there music used for the movie And that was at height of the Disco era. The Bee Gees became the face of Disco. But they were and are more than that. The soundtrack is the most successful soundtrack of any movie of all time and it's because of the Bee Gees.
The man on the dance floor is John Travolta, in the movie "Saturday Night Fever". I think the soundtrack is all Bee Gees, someone correct me if I'm wrong. You would enjoy the movie.

I was in high school from 1976 to 1980 and teen discos were everywhere. Every Saturday night we’d get dressed up (just like you see in the movie) and dance from 8-11:30 to make our midnight curfews. It was such unbelievable fun and I love seeing you enjoy it!
I want you to see „Don‘t throw our Love away“ by the Bee Gees at the One night only live Konzert in Vegas. They singing with Andy Gibb. A very nice Song.
I recently watched The Bee Gees HBO documentary and I learned that Barry Gibb wrote Islands In The Stream for Kenny Rogers. I always loved that song and never knew it was written by Barry Gibb. The Gibb brothers were honestly magical beings I think!
This is part of Saturday night Fever. John Travolta stars in the film. Andy is next to Maurice. Not part of the Bee Gees perse but joined them for this concert. You found a great live performance from their tour :) The Bee Gees wrote much more than disco but they ARE disco lol. Thanks for sharing and have a great day. Fanny good one - I think you also said you will do Tragedy - and if you can find it, there is a video that shows behind the scenes of them recording it.
Fantastic , this is what you call in the grove , loved it back in the day and still love it now, it really makes you want to dance, you can be jealous of me , as I grooved to many of their tunes , songs and music , great one Jay 🤩.
I'm so glad you chose the vid with scene from Saturday Night Fever! That really was a good movie. Story line real good. And the dancing and soundtrack was phenomenal. I always did The Bus Stop💃 to this. Created by a soul/funk band called Fatback. But The Hustle is great to it.
Disco's are awesome. Wish I could go back to that time too! I was born afterwards when dancing wasn't cool. I grew up in the whole "Disco is dead,' era. But it really does look like a great time.
At some point early 70's this band we loved so much, The BeeGee's "went disco". I suppose we have forgiven them. But take a listen to the authentic original BeeGee's who have been mostly forgotten. Try "I've Just Gotta Get a Message to You" from 1968.
Looking forward to this. You win again and for whom the bell tolls are great to they did not do a bad song. Can't wait to see you reaction Jay go Jay get moving . Wicked ☺☺💖💕💖💕
The younger Andy Gibb performed with them there. Loved it. He died when they accepted him into the group. Three brothers passed away. So sad 😭. I was 8yrs old when this song came out and I lived those Disco days thru my siblings. Watching them get ready to go to the Disco techs in NY. Priceless Memories
''Fanny be tender'' is so smooth and soulful you'll get that full falsetto range....another is ''Emotions'' by the Bee Gees'- Destiny's Child did a cover with a lot of success you might want to check out their version too.
This is THE song that put DISCO on the map!!!! When Travolta got up and danced to this it was all over!!!!! Made the BEE GEES Super Stars finally. Yes Andy Gibb preformed with The Bee Gees sometimes on tour. Have fun, Jaycee.
Andy Gibb was not in on the recording of this song but he was a guest on their Spirits tour in 1979 where the these clips are from. If Fanny is going to be your next song then you are in for a treat. Nights On Broadway from 1975 was the first song where they used the Falsetto voice and on Fanny they try to play a little more with it. You could say that it gets a little too much in the end but it is in overall a fantastic song.
John Travolta and the Bee Gees made Saturday Night fever the absolute legend of a film it is. John went through intense dance training for his parts in the film. The Bee Gees put together the music that would specifically suite the movie and dancing in a very short period of time. There were so many other things going on when they were shooting! Adding to the chaos the Bee Gees tracks were changed in tempo upon realise. Enough to throw Travolta and dance teachers out of sync. They were able to rework it all out and release it. They had no Idea the legend of a movie, sound track, disco phenomenon it would become! Everyone involved in the the music and dancing of the film were incredibly talented, ahead of their time and emmensly gifted in a way that's so rare these days.
I loved when you noticed Andy. I wish he hadn’t passed away so young. It’s even more depressing that we’ve also lost Maurice and Robin. Their beautiful music will live on.
Lol!!! I'm loving your reaction on this song. You Should be Dancing would be one of the first songs of the night in the disco and Last Dance by Donna Summer closed the night down. If we were single we would try to find the one we liked to dance with the most first and quick.
I know what you mean when you say "wish you could go back in time to actually be there!" I feel same way with my favorite band The Beatles and the 60's! But was born too late!😁 Bee Gees are AWESOME!!! More: Nights On Broadway Tragedy New York Mining Disaster 1914

Sweetie I just love your reactions to the Bee Gees a you love them as much as I do
I like your smile when you're hearing the song, I'm fan of the Bee Gees
OMG I’ve never seen this video but their younger brother Andy is singing with them!!
This was a concert in Houston, I believe, when Andy joined them on stage. There's a video of this entire performance on TH-cam...well worth looking up. It's amazing!! Maurice said that concert was embedded in his memory as he saw all his brothers faces at the mics when he looked across the stage.
Dolly and Kenny sang it a whole lot better than the BGs. It's one of my favorite songs.
Lol you’re so cute!!! Yes us old folks at least got the music. LOOK UP “Saturday Night Fever”
4 brothers singing together, this is amazing . You can see how much Andy is enjoying it and the handsome Robin is as always cool . Thanks for reacting
Tragedy is a great one you havent listened to yet :)
I really enjoy how much you like the BeeGees! I've loved them my whole life (born in 1972)!
Those clips were scenes from the moive Saturday Night Fever with John Travolta.
And there is their "baby" brother Andy! All four together
Yes, yes and YES! ☺️
This is the movie The started John Travolta's career
Fantastic , this is what you call in the grove , loved it back in the day and still love it now, it really makes you want to dance, you can be jealous of me , as I grooved to many of their tunes , songs and music , great one Jay 🤩.
I had a rather miserable day today and you just put a huge smile on my face. Thanks for posting these videos!
I was lucky enough to see them in concert in 1978, pretty much the same stage set and outfits. I will never forget it. Thankful I took pictures.
Oh yeah! These boys were born in England and raised in Australia. We in Aus adopted them as our own. 💖
Not quite: they're from the Isle of Man, the island well known for motor racing (Manx TT) located in the Irish Sea.
They lived less than 10 years in Australia (between 1959-1967). Barry was nearly 12 when they moved there.
The three older brothers were getting into a lot of trouble so the family immigrated to Australia.
If I had a time machine I would go back to the 70's and never return! Love watching your reactions and appreciation for the music I grew up with Jay!
The bee gees were the soundtrack of saturday night fever. An awesome movie.
Disco's are awesome. Wish I could go back to that time too! I was born afterwards when dancing wasn't cool. I grew up in the whole "Disco is dead,' era. But it really does look like a great time.
Yes Right On. It was a good time. I am now an old lady with bad knees but back then guys would hide from me because I wouldn't sit down!
It feels like forever since I last seen a Bee Gees reaction. Robin looks great as usual. Great job on the vids as usual 👍🏼
Must watch live concert Melbourne 1974....Robin takes the lead in many songs...Amazing voice Robin he was my favourite! Brilliant
At some point early 70's this band we loved so much, The BeeGee's "went disco". I suppose we have forgiven them. But take a listen to the authentic original BeeGee's who have been mostly forgotten. Try "I've Just Gotta Get a Message to You" from 1968.
Robert Johnson He’s reacted to several earlier Bee Gees songs, and he loved them too. 😊
They were known for their ballads before they dove into disco. They were all over the radio. Another sound of the 70s.
What a great era...loved them,the greatest soundtrack...
Looking forward to this. You win again and for whom the bell tolls are great to they did not do a bad song. Can't wait to see you reaction Jay go Jay get moving . Wicked ☺☺💖💕💖💕
With the Bee Gees you can't lose. The gift that keeps giving.
The best years of my life. So much fun. The Bee Gees were AMAZING!
Dude you have to listen to The Bee Gees last hit together “Alone” it’s a great song🤙🏻
Still one of my favourites . Great song.
Yes! I came here to request this one! My favourite Bee Gees song
Agreed , i love ALONE AND ISLAND ON THE STREAM
That's a really good one...
Brilliant clips of The Bee Gees and Andy Gibb performing with brothers. Great song .
Can't wait to see your reaction to this, my jam from 1976!
This is THE song that put DISCO on the map!!!! When Travolta got up and danced to this it was all over!!!!! Made the BEE GEES Super Stars finally. Yes Andy Gibb preformed with The Bee Gees sometimes on tour. Have fun, Jaycee.
Their falsettos are legendary
The Bee Gees did rule disco!!!!!🙂🙂🙂❤❤❤👍👍👍Recent fun stat: every 10 seconds, someone in the world is listening to a Bee Gees song.
This got 1k views in an hour. Impressive. Thank you for bringing some love to the Bee Gees. ❤
John Travolta out of Saturday night fever. My favorite movie
I was lucky enough to be there that night. This takes me to my happy place.
QUATRO ANJOS ABSOLUTOS!!!
ANDY ❤
BARRY ❤
ROBIN ❤
MAURICE ❤
AMOR ALÉM DA VIDA....
I loved when you noticed Andy. I wish he hadn’t passed away so young. It’s even more depressing that we’ve also lost Maurice and Robin. Their beautiful music will live on.
Too whom the bell tolls a early 90s tune u won't be sorry
The album "Size isn't everything" is great as well as "Still Waters"
It took me 40 years to become a bee gees fan. These dudes were KILLIN IT BACK THEN!!!! ABSOLUTELY SLAUGHTERING IT!!!
I'm from the 70's and Disco was awesome. You do know the guy danceing is John Travolta right?
I love your reaction and yes, the disco era was AWESOME! I'm so happy I got to be a part of it. 😊❤️
Time to bring Jay to the disco! Get him some platform shoes, a silk shirt & a medallion! 😅
Lisa Williams is absolutely right!!! You'd never want to come back between music and movies, you'd fall in love!!!💜🎼🎶🎵🤟 Disco absolutely rocked!!!!
But was born too late!😁
Bee Gees are AWESOME!!!

Scenes from "Saturday night fever" that was John Travolta doing the dancing, hard to believe he was ever that slim, lol
