Personally, I don't think the newer young guns are worth it, they're way too overproduced and they're way too inconsistent in prices. I feel like you should've included some older young guns from pre 2020s, like Travis Konecny for example who just signed that huge contract, only 6 bucks. or Juuse Saros that is only 8 bucks and he's one of the best goalies right now who has a chance of winning a vezina. Also could've included Owen Power if it was just young guns from the 2020s. One on COMC right now for 9 bucks but people list them for under 10 a lot or a bit over 10, I feel like he could be really good on that stacked young Sabres D core. Not to mention he was also drafted first overall.

As a Blues fan, I've been loading up on Neighbors rookie autos and rpa's. Kid has grit and knows how to score. I'd personally much rather see Robert Thomas with Puchnevich and Neighbors on the first line, but I'm assuming they are looking to get Kyrou back on track.

Each to their own. Norris does have a long history of injuries, but I think he still has potential to be a great player on the Sens and really bump his price if he can stay healthy. As for Harley, he could also be great and get a price bump, but it's always harder for D-Men to get that bump as they're usually less collected than forwards.

Tearing up AHL, and players on defensive minded teams or struggling to make the playoffs, won’t do much. Interesting video though. Even if Perfetti and Eklund have a 60 point season…. what do you think that will do as far as increases to their card?

It's possible, but probably not. I'm thinking more in terms of add a few extra dollars to their value or even potentially double. I could see a $3 Young Guns got to $6. Or a $5 to $10. Something like that. But hey, if any of them use their opportunity to shine and become a star, the sky is the limit. You never know who the next $50-60 Young Guns could be! But yes, always buy at your own risk and do your own research as well. Prospecting is like box ripping a lot of the time... a losing battle. Just usually you can avoid 90% losses unlike boxes haha

It's possible that you're correct, but I still feel that with solid play, they can fluctuate enough to make them a worthwhile buy heading into the next season. I don't think I'll be holding many of the base Young Guns from 2015-16 onwards in my own collection, but to buy in hopes of moving at a higher price in a few months is still a decent play in my opinion.

Sadly Askari’s isn’t under $10 anymore and while he could potentially be great, he’s on a team that has a very small following in the Sharks. With that being said, if anyone on that team gets collected I think most of the money will go towards Celebrini and Eklund and possibly even Will Smith. But Askari’s may get lost in the shuffle there when it comes to his collectability barring an incredible season or something.
Just like all the players in this list, we’ll have to wait and see, but either way, I think I’ll be staying away from Askarov for the time being. Hope it works out well for you though! 🍻
