For instance, why is it always on the sponsor to earn more and take care of financial obligations? It could be the other way around for a spouse who is making more and willing to marry someone who is not-supporting them in that way. I guess that's why many people are not willing to start a family, as they live below the poverty line or are not able to find a partner to spend life with. I’m a US Citizen. I filed I-130 for my foreign wife. After I filed I-130 for her in couple months she got a B1/B1 visitor visa. So my question, when I-130 gets approved and by that time if she is gonna be here in U.S., should we file I-485 for her or it’s better to let the process go on and let the USCIS to send everything to national visa center?
