    President Trump's immigration policy, focused on supporting international graduate students, is a step toward attracting talented individuals who can contribute significantly to the U.S. economy and society. By prioritizing skilled scholars over illegal immigrants, this policy will foster a more progressive environment, potentially creating one of the most advanced and innovative ecosystems since World War II. Countries should look to this initiative as an example of how investing in talent and education can lead to long-term economic growth and stability, much like how scientists and scholars from around the world have contributed to the U.S.'s leadership in research and development.

    Trump strongly supports legal immigration, which he often mentioned in his speech for his supporters to grant those who came here legally even for though they're out of status as long as they graduated from a U.S. college degree he mentioned from AA, B.A or B.S degree, the Trump administration offers them a pathway to permanent residency automatically.

      Can you explain more about it
      How's the process?

    • @allisonking785
      @allisonking785 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Viralclips1234 The key is that you have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that your skills are very useful to the USA. For example, I have a PhD in STEM from Stanford, and I was a postdoctoral research fellow when I applied for the NIW. I also had 10 publications in high-impact journals. You start by filling out the application (you can do this without an attorney). You write a cover letter explaining why you deserve a green card (10-15 pages). You also request letters of recommendation from high-level scholars in your field. Half of them know you, and half of them don’t, but they have cited your work. I requested five letters from professors and scientists I had worked with, and five from scientists I didn’t know personally, but who had defended my work. Then, I complied with all the requirements and submitted everything. After 3-4 months, I received a request for more evidence, specifically a list of published papers that referenced my work. At that time, my papers had been cited close to 200 times. With that additional evidence, I received a letter stating that my NIW was accepted, and I could apply for a green card. The beauty of the NIW is that you don’t need an interview or a sponsor. I followed through, received my green card, and after five years, I became a U.S. citizen. The best feeling was when the officer approved my citizenship application. I said “thank you,” and he replied, “You earned it!”
      Let me know if you need further revisions!

    Let's not forget that most international students who come to study in US and graduate are either sponsored by their home governments or companies in their own countries to get skills and return to their countries to use it. So, it seems only students whose parents sponsor to US universities might want to stay in America after graduating. There are facts not being told here. The National Interest Waiver "WAS" a useful tool for high skilled professionals. But not anymore. Although you skip the PWD and Labor Certifications wait forced in PERMs, as of Visa Bulletin December 2024, the waiting time for your action date once your NIW is approved is almost 2 years!! That's not smooth. That's a nightmare. That's completely unfair for a highly skilled professional with National Interest. It means that the professional must still wait two years to apply for a green card, with an adjustment of status, meaning the applicant cannot travel outside the US and live in a intermediate status being restricted to loans, credit and bank accounts. The applicant is still a foreigner for Banks, Employers and Government Agencies. National Interest Waiver WAS a useful tool before 2022, but unfortunately actual federal administration completely broke it.

    I jst don't understand... Y there r restrictions to mbbs doctors.. Or specialised doctors from india... To again repeat the residency is like sooo inhumane... Jst becoz it takes almost 15yrs to come to that position and usa medical council again asking to repeat residency.. Wer thd doctors r like can be treated as humans.. As v have been scarifring all our youth.., sleep.. Like repeating resindecy is such a torture at such age v r in... After finishing our udergrad and postgrad.. Feels like usa can free acess to indian doctors like specialised doctors.. Kindly put a screening test and test our knowledge but cant again repeat residency.. And damn v r all tired... As countries like india with 145 crores of population.. In such lot of racing with only few thousands of seats available back then 2009..did a lot of hard work and by the time v r aware of moving to other countries... V have finished specialisation too..

    Lol this is so hilarious. Now all the universities and collages in the US will start charging triple fees. In fact everyone who wants a green card will quit their jobs and start going to colleges and universities. ROFL

    140 K yearly employment based visas are for those skilled individuals which are not avilable in US. So you brought a point just to glorify his comments. Nothing more

    Will this include college graduates who are illegally staying and working here?

    so you are saying we have to show to usa that our work is in "national"interest and useful for development of usa to get a
    green card
    meanwhile in the border some guy just climb the wall at mexico and gets to work in usa permenetly and usa will give them the
    green card
    plottwist : he doesn't even speak english 😂 but we have to write many exams for language proficeincy wow super 😂

    In my opinion this practice is discriminative. Mostly high skilled people don;t immigrate unless for severe situation in their home country or medical safety.
