Agree, all the features in the world with great design, usability, amazing app but shit sound is not going to sell.
i have no wifi where i am going to use one of these.
i use pandora and music that is just downloaded into my phone on a playlist (apple)
will both of these work or just one for this?
If you have no WiFi, Sonos play 1 wont work. You would need to use the Bose Soundtouch 10, since it has Bluetooth built in. Hope this helped answer you question.

With Sonos you can and with bose, but you would need to use blutooth with bose

jake wesley Dude to be honest I thought I did, but when I put the video in post I new I fucked up smh.
You didn't mention the preset buttons or remote control which is what out-strips the sonos in terms of usability. Without getting your phone out, you can just hit the button to play your favorite album / play list / internet radio station .... that makes it a really useful speaker around the home.
What's more, with Bose, you're not tied to the software. I use spotify, it integrates perfectly, and I listen to radio, which is on the presets, so it just sits there and works. NO hassle, no worries, it just sounds good all the time.
Agreed. But I can always ask my Alexa, to play whatever I want and not even use my phone. Or just use the Sonos one. Again, it’s whatever u might prefer. But since they are in the space price range I would take any of the Sonos products over Bose. I just can do more with Sonos, like using Amazon Alexa, and play with the bass and treble, and use any of the speakers for my 5.1 surround sound. Something which u can’t do with the Bose sound touch speakers.
I might be wrong here guys but can you only play music from paid services i.e Spotify, deezer etc, on sonos through WiFi?
Most of my music is stored on my phone straight from my cd collection and I TH-cam alot, that being the case would the bose suit me best with its Bluetooth function?
John Forrest With Sonos you can play music which u have stored on your phone, via WiFi. However I tried doing that with Bose and it didn’t work via WiFi, it only let me play music which I have stored on my phone via Bluetooth. also Spotify and Pandora are free services, but the free version has commercials. Hope this helped answer your question.
That’s the point of the Sonos one you can just ask Alexa for things it’s the same price

Bad thing about bose soundtouch is a error code 0000 that was my experience really bad can do nothing about that and is happing alot really love bose but because of that i going to try something new

True fare point, however you still wont actually hear the difference via TH-cam. This is something only in person you can hear and understand the difference. But my next showdowns will have two speakers playing, because that is what everyone wants to hear.

Dude, go with the Sonos play 1. The app is much better overall, you can do more with it than the Bose app. Also see if you can buy the play one open box, you will save more $, that is what i do when i see a good deal. Go to best buy and see if they have any are available. Also the Play 1 or the One just look much better than any of the Bose speakers. Hope this helps the decision process.

I never got the point of playing a set of speakers in a review video. How will it ever sound better than whatever crappy speakers we're using to watch the video? Are we going to say, "wow these sound MUCH better than my phone speakers"?
The Sonos doesn’t come close to the Bose 10 in fidelity and is meant to be a stand alone system because it is that good. Nice try Kosher Kid 👎🏼

Terrible review sorry. It felt completely biased, you didn't play the Sonos or even show the terrible Sonos interface. I have tried both systems you showed and in my personal opinion the Bose system is in a different league functionally and from an audio quality perspective. personal opinion aside the review wasn't in any way informative

KosherTech I have 300 channels on my TV service, but only watch about 20!the rest are junk. Plus I can walk in to a room and just hit a button and I got music on the bose. Plus not using wifi Bandwidth, if I don't want to. Sonos is not as Versatile as bose, period. And you can adjust the bass through the app on bose either through your phone or the app. Bluetooth is not a con, it's a plus! Jeez.
Steven You can only decrease the bass on the Bose and not increase it. Again buy the best speaker that fits your lifestyle, as I mentioned throughout the video and on comment below Sonos fits my lifestyle more than Bose. Remember their are always pluses and minuses with every product, nothing is ever perfect or fits everyone. WiFi will always provide better music quality than Bluetooth. Try listing to a song and call your cell, see what happens.
KosherTech I just went into soundtouch on my android phone and using wifi I could turn up the bass..in speaker settings. the bass is all the way up by default, you can decrease the bass reduction or increase the bass reduction, thus turning the bass up and down.
Steven No Steve, you are incorrect. The bass is set to 0 as a default preset. You can’t increase it passed the 0 mark you can only decrease it. However with Sonos you can increase the bass passed the 0 mark. If you have any of the Sonos speakers you can try that and see what I’m talking about.

And from what it looks like, you don't like the bose one so you just talk bad of it, if it was a god "vs" (comparison video) both speaker would have their ups and downs (+&-) and you definitely need to play the sound from them both not just one of them. Keep that in mind next time
