I'm not religious, but I take much joy in listening to christian and religious songs, I believe this deserves much much more recognition and views as it is a beautiful song.
Hey All, So my voice is back! still having a few issues but I wanted to make sure I got something with vocals out before the end of the Christmas season tomorrow. I hope you all enjoy! While I recognize that Gothic fonts like the one used may not be universally legible, I find that it's fitting for the context, but if you're ever confused as to the spelling of what you're seeing, see the description! This video is experimenting with audio effects and multiple voices. _Ideally_ The song should give the feeling of being in a Cathedral. I've gotten mixed commentary from my testing audience so I really value y'all's feedback as to how the song sounds, if things are understandable enough, and how the community feels about this style of edits for potential future religious songs. I will also be posting an alternatively edited version that sounds less "Cathedral Choir" and features my voice a bit more prominently (somewhat more like a Choir+Soloist style). Patreons will get to vote on which version they like better and will thus help better my skills with this kind of style. I am finally starting to recover from my bug and just in time for the final day of Christmas so do forgive if the vocals aren't up to par As always, I am very thankful for my Patreon supporters and if you want to contribute to keeping this channel going, please consider joining here: www.patreon.com/AlderonTyran
I actually really like the voice effects. I wouldn't say it sounds all too like a cathedral, but it's very satisfying to listen to. Idk why but it gives me slight 40k vibes
Wonderful rendition! I've always loved the melodic hymns myself, but I had never heard this one until I stumbled upon this gem browsing your channel, and now this is my favourite rendition after searching far and wide for more covers of the hymn. That's not to say that I found this one bland! Far from it indeed, but rather I was just eager to hear more of the hymn. I must say that this cover has exacted a few tears from me; a rare occurrence. Also I know that the religious songs net fewer views than secular songs, but know well that they are still deeply appreciated by people like me! I give this specific hymn a listen basically every other day, or sometimes everyday, and in such cases many times in a day! If I may recommend another hymn to cover; "Oh the Deep Deep Love of Jesus" is particularly good. Entirely up to you of course, I hardly know how much effort goes into a cover, but I expect it takes a hefty bit of loving effort. I usually dislike suggesting songs or hymns, but you might find it worthy of a cover. I don't know, you probably already know of the hymn, haha!
I very much like it. My favourite is still O Fili et filiae but the theme of this one is beautiful, poetic and inspiring. Blessed be you forever Lord Jesus Christ. †

I love all your music, but your Christian music particularly. You sorta remind me of Alan Jackson.
