  • Today we finish Nezukos FBO mods with a actual useful short ram intake? This one doesn’t aim towards the header but instead aims towards the headlight. But does it work and is it worth it? Today we find out with how to install the intake and how it works! One of the best short ram intakes for the 8th gen Honda Civic si? Let’s see!

    what are the typical intake air temps you get for this setup while driving? Like 10-20 deg F above ambient?

    Its not to much air it's the velocity of air slows down the bigger the Piping is and the maf thinks it's not getting alot of air.

    did you have to move the main ground for the battery? or was it all plug and play

    • @ProjectRad
      @ProjectRad  ปีที่แล้ว

      We had to move the main ground by like a inch it barely didn’t make it.

    You also could of got the cold air & just get the cover they sale for the intake to keep from sucking up water

      For sure! And that was a option I was toying with for a good while. But I ended up deciding against it with just the sheer amount water we get and me not wanting to keep covering and uncovering. So far this intake has been keeping it very cold and doing a very good job sitting at around 50-65 degrees Fahrenheit!

    Do you need to flush coolant to install a new intake or no?

    • @ProjectRad
      @ProjectRad  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you do. One of the main lines is from the throttle body which needs to be moved.
