@@user-nx8tk1pp5o Maybe their idea was to use the angular momentum of the propellers to keep building up pressure between the suction cycles, so at the next cycle you would have this pressure available. I don´t know if this would work with a heavy flywheel at the propeller´s axis, but for sure it won´t work with this light cheapo plastic crap.
The eBay Dyno graph was correct. It did change the horsepower by 10. It just lowered it instead of raised it
They got an increase in power by removing it.
Air restrictions, less air means less power. That's nothing a noise making toy not benefiting for the performance.

Your biggest restriction is the abrupt change from a small pipe to a big one. If you repeat the test with a smoother (and longer) duct you'll see more power loss from the added restriction in the pipe

It did exactly as it stated!!! It said it adds 10hp. You put it on your car, dyno it, take it off, and dyno again and boom you gained 10hp. This product is AMAZING.....

You need to combine the intake launcher kit with the tailpipe turbo whistlers and that's how you get your horsepower. Some flame decals never hurt either
Another great, cost effective way to increase horsepower is with cheap but effective led underlights
You forgot the racing stripe and lowering springs... though on my old 2002 eclipse that was speed governed by aerodynamics, lowering it give me a higher top speed from 125-135... so maybe springs would help on some cars.

I am from Malaysia. I have that 'power launcher' thing, here we called it 'surbo'. I think that product only for small stock engine (below 80hp). I installed it on a stock Daihatsu 3 cylinders 850cc engine (3 speed automatic transmission). But I never test on dyno, just on the street. Before install it, the max rpm of the engine can reached was only 6000, but after installed it the rpm can reached up to 6500 and the top speed is up around 5 mph. Today I still using it for 8 years (daily used), nothing bad happen to it and my engine. I am very satisfied on that product and I want to tell 'thank you very much' to it's creator. Btw, I am sorry for my bad English 😊

For sure the spinning wheel will reduce power, from added drag, added resistance, an intake pressure drop. Please test it with just the wheel, the blades fixed, stuck, not turning, just to induce swirl in intake flow.
It's same as old Spanish patent ES0220611_U, JM Ganzenmuller Sanchez. Heating fuel before entering carb or injectors, Patent ES0248478_U, M fernandez, could be good, but some products in gasolines have a boiling point of 30º C, this could induce 'Vapor lock' and fires; of course, gasolines are not same in Saudi Arabia summer and in Siberian winter.
SAE paper 430113, Holaday, is about motorfuels.
Harry Ricardo showed swirl increased efficiency in the Bristol Sleeve Valve engines, the old Honda CVCC engines used this rationale too.

The most important test would have been to see what it did with a locked rotor. Then it would induce swirl in the turbo inlet. This is what is done with Inlet Guide Vanes or Inducers. Variable inducers can increase efficiency when off max eff on the map. But there are TEST PROBLEMS: 1) swirl in the wrong direction would be bad overall so is luck of the draw with this unit, 2) IGV's should be close to the turbo inlet which is not the case, and 3) IGV flow path OD should match that of the turbo inlet.
Unfortunately, the locked rotor would have been the interesting test. Letting the device free wheel results in an obstruction with little effect on swirl (except when shaft is accelerating, that torque reacts as a small amount of flow path swirl. Once the shaft reaches steady state speed, there is no accel > no torque > and no swirl.

Apparently some of these Ebay turbo's have gotten better in the last year or so....However for my own cheapskate needs, I think I'll stick to the junk yard turbo's and rebuild it myself...it makes me feel better when it is a brand name or OEM for something.

Years ago I made something similar to put on a 60 Chevy Impala, 348 with 3 deuces. Cold air coming from the front of the grill area. Epoxied breather with bolt on . There was a very high rev RPM 12volt electric motor that fit inline to blow air to the breather. . I put a toggle switch to turn on the motor on/off. Who knows if it ever made a difference

i bought a mazda 3 and a year after buying it i took apart my intake to clean the maf sensor and found of these in it. needless to say i didn’t feel a decrease in power after taking it out 😂🥴

kevin torres 2v mod motors will hold at about 450hp at the crank and even that's pushing it. A few Dyno pulls and they'll have to replace the block.

in order to add horse power, you'd have to adjust fuel curve to account for the added air. Port the heads and the effect will be greater. use in conjunction with the electric turbo and you'll definitely snap the crank.
You should legitimately test one of the proper ghetto electric things one day like a torqamp or another brand of 48v electric supercharger.

Fidget spinners are built better! Especially the first ones! Those had some seriously nice bearings in them. Of course cost savings got into the industry so it was no longer a good place to get cheap bearings for projects, LOL.
