I just finished installing in a 2008 Jeep Liberty No steering wheel controls
I put in a Atoto F7 WE head unit and a Atoto rear view camera ( AC- HD02LR )
There are two white wires with a light green stripe
One is positive and one is ground
    I made the connection there
I also installed the red wire to the accessory power up by the head unit
I then plugged in the RCA jack to the RCIN ( rear camera input )
    Two things
First - when in reverse the camera comes on
Second - there is a rear view camera icon on the head unit screen
When you press it the rear view camera turns on without being in reverse
I do not have that extra box that you have but it works both ways irregardless
I don’t know if it’s because of the head unit but the can-bus is not a problem at all
Maybe it’s because you have a Boss head unit that you need that box
But I figure this might help some people out
Also if you do not connect the red wire on the video cable to accessory power
You will get a message on the screen saying NO VIDEO OUTPUT.
    Hope this helps someone.

I am installing a rear camera on an 08 liberty right now.
The question I have is, based on the way you powered the camera off ACC, is the camera powered full time?
I am thinking of installing my camera on the black trim piece with JEEP on it.
This video was a BIG help to me, thanks a lot!!

I followed the instructions to a T but can't get the camera to work. When I put it in reverse it says no camera detected? How would I trouble shot this. I checked all wires and they are hooked up exactly as you did.

@@ProvoBeastAudioso the white with green was next to the ground wire you showed us ?
I’m installing a ATOTO back up camera
But it will only engage when in reverse
It’s a 2008 Jeep Liberty like the one in your video
I’m pretty sure that’s the reverse light power or positive but I want to make sure
