I have u. liberty 2011 do you only make the low and high beam connection by eliminating the original connector and replacing it with the ones from the projector?
Sounds like you had the same exact problem with the vents as my 2012 JEEP liberty. It's stuck on defrost. Any chance you can go further into how you fixed? Greatly appreciated.
I really wish I had filmed that fix... If your situation is like mine, you have a broken part in the gear and lever system on the upper left side of the heater distribution box. My temp adjusted fine, but the air would only blow out of the defrost no matter where I put the selector. The first thing to do is to buy the [08-12 Jeep Liberty Heater Distribution Box]. When it arrives, you will see a gear and lever system on one side of the box under a black plastic housing. . Study how they are connected and how they work. They all pull off by hand. You will eventually take that gear system off the new box and install on the existing box in the driver's side footwell. There is a blend door actuator you will have to remove as well.. It took me a couple solid hours to fenagle myself and my big fingers in there and to familiarize myself with the workings, but I did all that without the help of having the new box sitting there.. This is a link to the box on ebay. On the new headlights, when you replaced the original light with the projectors did you open the housing from the front? I dont understand...the hole on then new housing is too small even installing it from the front
Yes, exactly... I had to pull the entire front lens off so the projector can be placed into the reflector with the threaded nozzle pokes out the back side of the headlight.
Sorry, but I generally do not do work for hire. I just don't have the time. I can tell you that most builders would probably charge you between $800 and $1500 for that type of work.
Just came across your channel. I just bought new headlights and I'm interested in installing halo rings on to the headlights, which means I need to disassemble the headlights housing. Can I hit you up if I have any questions?
The headlight buckets definitely are. The projectors themselves may or may not be, but there is no obnoxious glare to get authorities asking questions. The projected light output is on par with any Lexus or Mercedes with LED lighting. I have the same style retrofit projectors on all 4 of the cars regularly featured on this channel, amd I have never had a problem.
That looks SO clean. I am at the stage right now with my KK where I need to replace the bulbs and get new headlights. Thanks for this!
anytime
This video deserves alot more views seriously thanks a bazillion
*Thank for the video. My wife has a 2008 Jeep Liberty Sport. This will make an excellent upgrade.*
You're very welcome... She'll love it..
Thanks man for the info.. and sharing the help in the kk group. Much appreciated 💯
No problem 👍
Great install. I was looking at those for my KK. I am not considering building out my lights custom. Thanks for sharing!!! 💯💯💯
Glad it was helpful!
I have a 08,removed 3 clips in front of tire on each side and that's it about 3-5 minutes each side
Clean install. I appreciate the helpful video!
my pleasure
great video! did you ever figure out the solution for them high beam cutting off the low beam circuit?
I have u. liberty 2011 do you only make the low and high beam connection by eliminating the original connector and replacing it with the ones from the projector?
That particular projector did not come with a connector. I had to crimp on 3 separate individual wire connectors after eliminating the oe connector.
I got it, l apprecciate man

Were your turn signals hyper-flaashing? I heard them quickly ticking...
Did you have to install load resistors?
Yes and yes.
Where you order light for Jeep Liberty 2011 the same you kit
Yes where did you order it too
Ebay... www.ebay.com/itm/124638478057

Damn looks good
Hi! Do you sell the pair of headlights with the projector already installed by any chance?
Not yet, but we're working on it. For now we just show you how to make them for yourself.
Hey really like those head lights where did you order them they look different than the stock
Those are bone stock from Ebay. The projectors and the shrouds make them look so different.
How much is the set for headlights?
It should run about $500 in parts

Anytime bro,, These are some of the easiest headlights I have ever done. You'll probably knock it out with no trouble...
Did you figure out how to get the high beam working? About to do a DIY bi-led retrofit on my daughters Liberty.
No, not yet.. other projects and repairs took my eye off those high beams.. I know there's a workaround
Is this setup DOT approved?
just curious...

Yes in the 08 to 12 library, the fog lights bulbs are built in to the headlight assembly

how did you adjust the projector horizontally?
Eyeballed it.. The fan assembly on the bottom of the projector is a good mark.
Great question.. I should have mentioned that..
