    Looks like a top notch bag (a must for field work), as well as a well thought out kit. I am planning to build a very thorough first responder kit, and your loadout looks like a solid model to follow. It would be a ton of work, but it would be awesome if you could list the components. I know that Amazon carries most of those items, but I would not know how to discern the good stuff from the cheap chit.
    I am particularly interested in the smaller plastic containers and nylon bags you have inside the big bag. A color coded layout like you have seems to make finding things easier.
    Very solid job on the review, and thanks for the effort in producing the video.

      Thank you sir! I will try to include as many links as I can. Some items are no longer available but I will see what I can do. I love the color coding too! helps when you can tell someone to open the yellow compartment vs the "right side... No the other right side!...compartment"

    I'm not a EMT or PARAMEDIC but I'm a cadet learning alot of medical stuff planning on buying this for future use. Not sure if you need to be a EMT or PARAMEDIC to use this?

    My ambulance service used to carry this. Not sure why we got rid of them on our front line trucks. I really enjoyed it, super easy to carry and had all of our ALS equipment in them. Oh well.. lol

    • @DmacReviews
      @DmacReviews  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh yeah? They are a great alternative to the $300+ bags commonly used. Odd that they did switch away from them. On our ambulance we have the "high-end" bags and its got zipper problems, tears, etc. Yeah these professional trauma bags are nice, and affortable!!

    I've got this bag and its top notch. I've tried 3 others and they simply do not compare.

    Can you possibly do a review of the kemp premium rescue and tactical bag. The pictures and information about the bag is insufficient. Thanks. By the way love the set up.

      Hey! I currently do not have the tactical/rescue backpack. I am taking a break from videos at the moment but may start filming again soon. Lot of new pack setups! When I get back on videos I can see what I can do about getting a tactical/rescue bag

    Hi, I am a home health nurse looking for an alternative to what pur companies hand out which are just a revie for disorder and chaos. I eep trying to find pics/videos of the pockets/straps/storage compartments in the bag. I could not really see the specifics in all pf the pickets dt them being full. I have assessment equipment, computer, motebooks, various elevtronics(inr machine) and a bunch of dressings wraps, blood draw supplies etc. i wpuld really like to find a bag that has eadily accesdible compartmemts that are also easily visible - i want to be able to see what is in them. Tight now i habe to put them all in ziplic baghies and drop them into the abyss. Of couse the interior of the bag is dark so i can see nothing. I just have to paw through everything that has collected at the bottom. I am so frustrated I am anout to design my own. The company supplied bag is driving me crazy emough I am just buying my own! Jcaho mandates clean/dirty compartments as well of course. How many compartments does this have? Is there also room for computer and notebook? Paperwork? Does each of the compartments have hooks to secure items? Thanks! Jemmifer

      As far as major compartments this has about 7 if you count the back slot for the backpack straps. This is set up (i suspect) to carry IV supplies as it contains many elastic loops for smaller items. You should have no problem fitting a laptop in the long slot in the main compartment as long as its not like a very large one (17" < Id say). You can remove dividers in that main compartment too, in order to hold larger items. Dressings and wraps are held well in the interior lid compartment (see-through compartment that I have mine in). I dont know how visible things are in this bag compared to other bags (if you have a lot of stuff, you may want to check out the ultimate ems backpack which has windowed velcro modules. guessing it would be overkill, though) This bag, like many ems bags can become sort of a black hole if you arent careful. What I like about it, as I said before, is that it has a lot of loops for smaller items. The pockets in this bag are relatively small, thus keeping things more managed/contained in my opinion.

    As usual, this is a great and informative video. I have come to expect that from you. I like that I don't feel that you are pushing a vendor, even when they provided the bag, as in this case.
    I really like the idea of the Triage kit. I'll probably include that in my bag.
    Do you feel that your bag is capable of handling multiple traumatic injuries? If not, how would you configure this bag to handle that? I'd love to see a video on that.

    • @DmacReviews
      @DmacReviews  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey thanks for the feedback!!
      When you say multiple traumatic injuries do you mean multiple fracture/minor trauma types? Or do you mean like an MCI sort of compliment?

    • @PreparingForSHTF
      @PreparingForSHTF 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was referring to the latter. I'm a CERT member and deploying in the case of a tornado, aircraft crash or act of terror or things like these are what we train for. I want to have a kit that would allow me to provide "the most good to the greatest number of people" in a reasonable kit.

    • @DmacReviews
      @DmacReviews  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually, I'm in the same boat! My CERT bag currently has the basics (mainly what came with the original green backpack). I will look into making a multi-trauma kit soon. Good idea!

    • @PreparingForSHTF
      @PreparingForSHTF 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Excellent. Thanks. I will promote this on to my fellow CERT members as well as to the DeKalb County Fire Rescue Reserve members when it comes out. We all like to be ready to serve.

    What the difference between this bag and the red profecinal bag.

    • @DmacReviews
      @DmacReviews  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      So this bag is made of a higher denier ballistics nylon and has better zippers, along with the zipper pulls. Then this bag also features the pull-out kneel pad which the previous did not have. shoulder pad is a lot more comfortable, and the upgraded striping on it gives it more visibility.

    You’re a EMT all right? I have a few questions for you because I have a medical kit and I want to make sure everything is up to the standards LOL. I’m 16 and I am CPR and AED and first aid certified

    • @DmacReviews
      @DmacReviews  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am a state certified EMT in several states, as well as a Nationally registered EMT. Since protocols and policies vary by location, I would consult your specific area for whats acceptable to carry based on your training. As far as I know, there is nothing preventing you from having BLS supplies in your personal ems bag for home use within your family. I believe it is important to be prepared. With that said, just because you have knowledge (or supplies) of how to do something, doesn't mean you should. There are many procedures I can (certification wise) do as an EMT that I would not do in a good samaritan capacity unless it was in a dire need, and help was far out. Remember to prioritize honing skills and training before stocking up on supplies :) :) At the end of the day its all about giving the best care we can to those we serve, not about how much stuff we can carry. Excellent job getting CPR and first aid training! CPR is something everyone should know how to do. Idk if you already are, but deff try to get hooked up with your local FD too and work on getting EMT as a next step! It's great training to have regardless of where you end up in life.

    thanks for responding, you as a paramedic really recommend the backpack? I really like that style similar to the pacific coust, I have problems in amazon mexico is not disponible:(

    • @DmacReviews
      @DmacReviews  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am not a paramedic no no.. just emt. for what I use it for (trauma/medical bag) the backpack works great to have just a ton of stuff organized in it. The only downside is its size. I tend to keep it more for at home nowadays as my main medical bag for the fam. this smaller trauma bag is great for stuffing in the car and using on the go. Yeah the kemp bags are similar to the ferno and pacific coast bags just at a lower price. Yeh not sure how the amazon works over your way...

    Meh, from what I see, not too impressed. LA Rescue makes the best shoulder strap I have used thus far. I replace all the shoulder straps on my bags with theirs.

      I can always throw an 1" 3/4 or 2" hose section over it and pad it. something like that wouldnt deter me from this bag. too many benefits vs cons.

    • @ryandolan8522

      Personally, I think La Rescue makes the best bags out there. Wouldent go with anything else.
