Why would these camera cameras be configured for portrait vs landscape? I feel this is a big mistake as I do not want to see what is above or under my bike, I want to see what is around my bike.
Hello Jason, Quick question, how long does the battery works for? Or you need to make any electrical wiring connection?
I run mine off a USB outlet. I don't know how long it runs on battery alone.
Hey Jason, thanks for this. I haven't seen anything that says so but is the mic built into the head unit? I was going to put it in a tank area but sounds like it needs to be out where it can recordsambient sound?
It is in the head unit This video is set to standard sensitivity. I haven't tried low yet. Also, maybe I will try a piece of tape over the mic to reduce the wind noise. This video is a first time capture. Also, the front camera is shooting through a smoke windscreen.
How do you like it so far? I noticed you had a ram mount in your last video. Can you mount a phone and have the rexing at the same time? Also, does the rexing get in the way of the actual motorcycles dash?
If the ram mount is spun to have the phone towards the tank it would work.
The Rexing is great as a dash cam. Using it as an action camera is not ideal.
After having it a while I have decided to use it just as a continuous dash camera( its designed use) and lock video when something happens I want to save.
Where it is mounted does not get in the way of dash unless you are tucked in. Then it might.
Also the display does not continuously show video.
