    As a Puerto Rican watching the BSN since I was a little kid im so happy that our league is getting the love it deserves a lot people don’t know that the bsn through the 1950’s it was a better league then the ABA and the nba and in the 70’s Phil Jackson even coached here so it is safe to say our league has alot of history it just had a down fall In 2010 cause of some contracts that were very high but now it is starting to come up quick and no doubt in a few years it will be even better 🇵🇷💯

    • @TWO3ZONE
      @TWO3ZONE  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Its a team game overseas which is more college like honestly its more of a system while as BSN resembles more iso or 1on1 play similar to the NBA

    • @Sir_Aurelius
      @Sir_Aurelius ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@alvaroloredo1997
      I agree, that’s why I said second best in America. I also said there’s more talent than in many places overseas. Its true that the second best league in the world is the euroleague, and yes the euroleague is better that the bsn. But the bsn is better than taiwan, than china, and that many many other oversea leagues. That’s what I stated in my comment, I never said that the bsn is better than the euroleague, that would be absurd to say in this moment.

    • @Sir_Aurelius
      @Sir_Aurelius ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@TWO3ZONE
      Man, idk, I kinda have an entirely different perspective. In fact, I think that the reason that many nba players that have played in the bsn have not been very successful is precisely because it is more system and team oriented than the nba. There is not many room to play ISO or one vs one since the dominant defense is zone defense, and players are not as athletic as nba players so they rely more on systems. Atleast that’s been my experience following the league since I was a young boy (currently 34). Although, I must agree that it does not ressemble euro basket either, eurobasket is very pass first based, and most systems run through pass pass. Down here I would say that its kind of unique in terms that its sort of an in between of nba and euro.

    There are many things in history that unite us and many Afro Americans come to the island first because there is a good league with a lot of history and second because they feel like family and the people show it to them, Phil Jackson was coach in this league and look who was and in the last dance video he says how competitive it is and if you don't give your 100 percent, people throw glass at you or boo you, it makes me proud to see that the basketball league in PR is growing I hope one day to see the same from the baseball.

    The NBA consists of only 17 players per team. Not everyone is going to get a shot and some will be overlooked or blackballed. I'm happy there are more Basketball leagues for these players to keep laying at a High Level. I also know some of these other league teams can beat some of these NBA teams. Like the ABA/NBA, hoping we can one day see the top teams in every league face off. Would draw a lot of money. I know we already got it via the Olympics, but this would be different. CONGRATULATION TO THEM ALL!

    PR is the best place for these men to feel the “most at home” as men of color. That and it’s TAX free!😂

    It is a strong league. Something to correct: PR could be a top tier league, but the worldwide recognized strongest league in the world after the NBA is the Spain's.
