Spree was nice. One of my favorite players. His 2 hand dunks were ferocious. It’s to bad they broke up that golden state team. You had Hardaway at the point, Spree and 2 guard, Mullen small forward, CWeb at power/center and Gatlin the same. They had a young squad that could have competed for championships if they were allowed the time to develop together. It’s one of the great forgotten what if’s.

When u remember just how good a baller he was u can't help but understand where he was coming from when he turned down that 3 Year $21 million dollar deal, though for me it wasn't even so much that he turned down the deal, it was the way he did it, I mean I understand pride and principal no doubt, shit I came up so poor in the 90s that to this day it's ingrained in me, I'll go all out for the few I trust, love and care about but myself? Imma hella frugal and really always been, even when I started making some money in my teens and getting some solid gear I'd look sometimes relentlessly for the best damn deal I could get but ever since I got outta prison back in 2008 and in particular when I starting working Tile Installations and Construction I stopped caring really at all about being geared up, especially if I don't have a woman(which it's been a long while since) and I'm going on 16 years in construction this December...but anyway as a lifelong New Yorker and Die Hard Knicks fan, the Knicks were yet another of the countless reasons the 90s was the greatest decade ever to be a kid and Sprewell is a major reason why i especially was Knicks Crazy in the late 90s so much so that even during the 90s Yankees Dynasty(Yankees are my all time favorite team across all sports and baseball has always been my favorite sport to play as well)at times I'd choose the Garden over Yankee Stadium
