Heihachi Mishima inspires me to workout man, NGL. He's a regular guy like you said. He acquired his strength from years of hard work. Even if his feats of strength are unattainable irl he's a reminder to me that you can surpass all limits if you train hard enough.
Fighting games are one of those genres where I know I'll never be good at any of them since I have the reflexes and technical skill of a capybara on quaaludes, but I have a deep respect for those who are good and I like the rosters. Also, good review. Your sense of humor is punchy, and your pace/cadence is fun without being incomprehensible.
To anyone that wants to play this game's arcade mode I present to you an alternative: Don't do that. Find someone else whom unlocked all the characters and steal their memory card.
The beginning of the best fighting series ever imo I love Death By Degrees. Tekken meets Resident Evil is great lol Yoshi's Tekken 4 Rhino bug costume is my favourite one.
Death By Degrees actually isn’t a bad game. You can see they tried and if you fiddle enough with the combat you might even do some cool stuff. I tried playing it a few years ago and found myself liking it enough to play for 6-8 hours before losing interest

Gravy. I remember playing Tekken 3 with my brother when we were kids. He would always pick god damn Eddy and spam that breakdancing move.
Playability-wise that's part of the reason why, despite its massive commercial success, T3 will always be a step behind T2 in my book.
