I like being challenged in any game so I love the Raizing/Eighting games The Panzer Dragoon series is great too though I'm not interested in the remakes, 2 and Orta are even better than the first one

I never woulda known the faces behind some of the coolest tracks I've ever laid ears on for the first time. All while keeping this stuff interesting and fun to watch, even if I had no prior knowledge or attachment to the subject matter in the first place. I don't think that even the most dedicated SNES fans can deny that this game is freaking awesome. And I am saying this as someone who grew up with the SNES, and barely even heard of the Genesis during the 90s.

I actually got a bit of enjoyment from the 3d contra games on ps1. Everyone says they're terrible, but I don't think they gave it a chance. Definitely not fantastic, but not unplayable.

In the 16 bit Era, many Japanese developers started making the western releases more difficult because of the rental market. They were afraid that if you could beat the game in a weekend that you wouldn't go out and buy the game later.

In my opinion this remake v5.2 is a total piece of artwork. 👍👍

This is the best contra game ever made in my opinion, awesome review.

This game is a masterpiece, it's neck and neck with thunder force 4 for my favorite genesis game.

My only minor nitpick is that it can be awkward to press between the Shot modes, instead of holding in the button, since it is easy to forget when you are stuck in "Shot II" mode - it would have also been cool if you could lock the gun in one direction as long as you keep shooting (kinda like the jeep in "FirePower 2000"). But apart from that, damn awesome game.

I had no idea Shatterhand was a Natsume title. That means it might actually be in the running for one of their absolutely stellar remakes at some point! Sweet, this game rocks!

Oh shit, Plok! Every couple of years, this game keeps popping into my mind - this is one of those games where I have no idea how kid me ever came across it, but I somehow played it over and over again anyway back then. Still have the cartridge kicking around somewhere, too - if only my controllers hadn't rotted away ages ago. I should see about emulating it at some point.

Why is this guy so underrated?

I'm lucky to have the original trilogy, got them many years ago, before the prices went bonkers on them. I happen to like all 3 of them, the 2010 game I have never played, nor desired to do so, to me the trilogy are the only games I need to play.

Contra Hard Corps was oozing badassery back in the day and it still does today. This one needs a remake / remaster / you name it. Brad Fang was my favourite of the 4 :)

"Worst localization i've ever seen"? Believe me, it's not even close to Rushing Beat games localization, now these games have worst localization.
