    I have been buzz cutting my head for 30 years. I have the same shaver as in the video and I use it without any guard. It is by far the best shaver I have ever had, I have been using it once a week for the last 2 years and I have never once cut my head. It is brilliant!

    I purchased this last week and have been too scared to use it lest I F-up. Your video has given me the confidence to try it early next week (when I can get a professional haircut if I mess up). I HATE spending over $1000/yr on a weekly haircut. The money spent and the time spent pisses me off. Thanks for sharing and giving me the courage to try it.

    Since i started watching your videos last month.. i decided ti shave my hair off... im not going bald.. i was just so self conscious that my hair defined who I was.. and by shaving my hair off.. I learned so much about myself and who I am.. so thank you :)

    Just a note to you:
    It doesn't come fully charged.
    When the LED blinks, it's charging - When it's solid, it's fully charged.
    Other than that, nice video :) just bought the thing myself.

    Your videos make me so happy. I'm struggling with self-confidence as I lose my hair and I'm terrified to buzz it off because it seems like such a commitment, but to see how happy it makes you and how great you look with a buzzcut gives me hope that I may be able to rock the chrome-dome with confidence. Thanks!

  • @neorich59

    Agreed, it's the best clipper out there. I've had 3 and with the first one, when the battery died, I was able to use it with the mains lead for ages, till the motor finally packed in. The other 2 haven't been quite so reliable and the present one "sounds" as if it's on its last legs.
    But, it's a unique product, even though I'm tempted to by an "all in 1" beard/hair trimmer!

    Good Job!
    I have both versions too and what I really am going to miss with the older 100 design is the wheel adjustment saving the hassle of all those 12(?) clips. At 64YO I don't know if I can carry the near-bald look. But then again - at 64 YO - who cares what I look like!?

      @yjmrules 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Richard Holley How did it go? If you haven't done it yet I recommend going to the barber and getting a grade 2 all over. That takes the control away from you so you can just close your eyes whilst your hair is being buzzed off. Then you can maintain yourself, on a 1 or 2 guard.

    Oustanding demo, will be buying these clippers. I like how the clippers are angled for easy zero guard buzz cuts. Lol the eyebrow warning

  • @phalanx66Satan
    @phalanx66Satan 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    The older model cuts closer than the newer model, that zero guard you're speaking of is actually more headspace than the older model allows which is really annoying when you're attempting to achieve a close cut. I didn't get the blue colored pro version, I got the red and black version so maybe I'm mistaken about the headspace achievable (zero guard) on this blue version you're showing. If it actually cuts to zero, I'd buy one. The main improvement from the old model is just power, the new one is lithium. I don't think you can use any of these in the shower, but why would you want to, water causes problems. I know from experience that using whale oil on the blades or a better machine oil saves your motor along with cleaning after every use. The old model's motor if not cleaned and oiled would die/degrade along with the power supply if not taken care of. The curved blade market is pretty slim, there's not a lot of competition, I wish there was. It would be nice to get a German engineered lithium battery trimmer that doesn't get clogged up with hair, is powerful, and precise. Half ass razors, shavers, and other grooming equipment are annoying as fk and don't serve any purpose other than to piss you off. I'm willing to spend the extra dollars to get a superior item that won't turn to crap after 6 months. One thing I noticed about the newer short cut model is that there are plastic areas that invite shave stubble to get in and underneath, located near the blade assembly, I can tell eventually these plastic areas will fracture to assist the break down of the unit. I would rather pay 50 bucks more for an aluminum frame that will last than something that will likely break. It's just too bad that in this modern age, this is all our engineers can come up with. If anyone has found a better curved blade system that doesn't suck with annoying fragile parts, please list it here.

Im going to shave my head with my micro touch solo. Trimmer. Or just try. Rogaine. Im losing it. Im 24. I should grow a beard with the bald head. Im not shaving my head im going to try a derma roller. Rogaine. Hair skin and nails vitamin. And my hair product. Thats helps not show. Bald spots. I bought this device last week and returned it before seeing your video. It was pulling my hair too much. But that was when my hair was at about a #3. So perhaps if I buzz my head with other clippers with a #1 guard and then use this as a zero guard, I might have the same results as you. I hate to buy it again just to test this theory.

    I have one but I find it just isn’t powerful enough, maybe I got a duff one I dunno. It doesn’t give a good cut especially using guards, so if I’m using a number 2 it will leave a lot of hairs at random despite going over and over. I just think all these battery ones are ok for no guard but anything else they just don’t seem to cope.

    This Remington works good but about 2 years in the battery will start to fail. There is no way to replace it without taking it apart and doing some MacGyver soldering which will be dangerous.
