I recently got this clipper, and I'm vastly happy !!
Yesterday I did my shortest cut ever,.. 2.5 mm, with a 1,5 mm fade in front of my ears,, and I look fabulous 🎉😍😊😎

I have dense stiff hair on my head (denser than yours) and have been shaving it this short since 5 years ago. One of the best decisions in my life! It feels so good and fresh every time I do it. Besides, women love it.
I have been using a Phillips clipper and it works well but takes too much time and effort for the perfect flat shave that I want to have. So I'm going to order the new model because it's washable. Hopefully it won't disappoint.

Cracking review bud. The OG Quick Cut has been the staple of my self-hair buzzing for the last ten years plus. Look forward to getting the Quick Cut Pro in due course.

Har rakat huvudet i flera år med en vanlig hårmaskin, vilket är ganska omständigt. Visste inte ens att denna typen av produkt existerade så plockade up förra generationens för halva priset. Grymt tips!

I'm glad you liked it :)
Well I have used it a couple of times to trim the beard, and it does a really good job there as well, it's just that its a little to big to take anything else except from the sides of the beard, so I could to it all with just this one.

How often should you charge the Pro version? I have the old version and when I spent two months without charging it, not only did it die, but it regained very little power and keeps stopping, even after a full charge. Any tips to prolong battery life on either model? Thank you!

Hello Pierre nice review, i am hesitating between both of them.
The Pro is about 15 euros more pricey than the standar version ( 65€ for the pro and 50 for the standar)
Do you think the pro version i worth the extra 15€ in terms of handling confort ans cut speed ? i only need it to do a buzzcut before using the remington rx5 when my hair is too long.
    Thank you

I have bought several of these over the years (both models) and they are great, but there's an issue nobody mentions - the guide combs wear out (especially in the shorter sizes) and are not available as replacement parts at anything like a sensible price. Remington don't sell them, you basically have to buy a whole new clipper set. Because of this I now have 4 clippers and a drawer full of unused combs in sizes I'll never use, and just one comb in my preferred size in good condition that I use every second or third day (which is beginning to wear out again). If you mostly use just one or two comb sizes, plan on buying a whole new clipper set every year or two. The wastage is disgusting.

Hej, is it better the old version, or same?

    • @SirPierreSe
      @SirPierreSe  ปีที่แล้ว +2

At first I just thought they was same same, but I lager noticed that I really preferred to use the new one instead of the old one, there are just small improvements, but they are good enough. Feels better in hand, feels like it shaves wider, cuts faster and shorter.
So no complains about the old one, I don't even know if they still sell it. If you have the old one you don't need to upgrade.
But if you can choose between buying the old one or the new one then I would absolutely go with the new one.

I have old one and new. My opinion if you have old one dont buy new.
Old one is more ergo to use:
its more "handy" its lighter ,
button on top is more ergo to use
    blades are the same
Its still quick to use so you will not notice any difference buying new version.
Pluses that I dont see with new one:
dont see any major difference with turbo mode
its less ergonomic if you used old version before
    its double price
    blades are the same
its quick to use so I dont really see pluses with battery at regular use
dont use those many "spacers" so for me they are useless.
My conclusion is ITS GREAT CLIPPER if you want to buy it , search for old version .
If you have money to spend you can buy new one ,but its not that revolutionary.
FOR ME PERSONALLY I THINK REMINGTON should focus on lighter + more ergo button (I prefer old one)
blades to be closer to skin, and less accessories. SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH

I agree :) the old one is good and you don't NEED the new one if you have the old one.
