I love how you study. I've been thinking about going to nursing school once my youngest is a little older. I've done CNA work before, but Ive always wanted to do LPN or RN.
5:59 it's always seemed crazy to me how much is expected of students to memorize in nursing school, let alone any allied health program, but it's amazing to SEE how much could actually be stored when you repeatedly study the information 🙏🏽 props to ya! and thanks for the tips

Thanks for the tips! I talk out what I remember like I am teaching someone and it helps drill it in my head. A whiteboard has been helping me as well

This is a lot of work! I have test every Mondays, cardiac ,mental health ,urinary etc . Depending on the body system(MedSurg) for dat week. So one barely ve time to create study notes like this.
Above all ,I love the getting a private study room and a dry eraser board. It has really helped me so far in the program. Writing from your memory can’t be overemphasized! It’s a great tip.
Hey guys I know Office Depot may be cheaper about the spiral binding notes but if your really on a tight budget get a 3-hole,hole puncher and those plastic prong folders from Walmart (since back to school is over their like 10 cents) they work just as well 👍🏽💗 hope this helped (last quarter for my LVN program) this helped me. this is helpful! I like the orange and blue colors when taking notes. When I was in school, after studying, one thing that helped me was speaking it outloud too!! it like really sinks in the information when you do that!! :) love your tips

Very good method, thanks for sharing! I also explain the information to myself, I have a 45 minute drive to my school so I do it then. I’m in my last semester of my program and noticed some RN jobs & RN to bsn programs require a 3.0! I’m at a 2.87 so I’d need 2 As (93% and up at my nursing program) and 1 B to bring it up to a 3.0!

One thing I do, that I think u sort of did, is teach the information out loud. That helps me retain the information long term.

I have tests every Monday and clinical stuff Monday-Wednesday so I basically have Thursday-Sunday to study 😭 1 more semester though yay!

I study just like this but instead, I utilize Quizlet to my advantage such as using their flashcards and just going over them repeatedly. I like to rewrite my notes down in my words or in a simpler definition. It takes some time but it is worth it because I am understanding the material. I also have a whiteboard so when I am studying with flashcards I like to say the answer out loud as I write it.

Yes, I tried to print my powerpoints through staples and they wanted like $100 to spiral bind them

How do you print those notes in your notebook??!
How do you get your notes spiral bound? I was wondering how that process goes at Staples?
You can just take your papers and ask them to bind them! Or you can take a flash drive with files and have them print and bind it all. You can choose paper style, binding style, etc. It's really nice!
Our names are basically spelled the same way mine was supposed to be 2 e’s but my dad took one off 😂
