  • THis is a video I have never made before, it's all about what goes into furnishing the interior of a Super Yacht. Never will you have seen such painstaking efforts go into sometimes the most mundane things. Everything is put under the highest scrutiny, all for the absolute pleasure of the discerning Billionaire!
    The very finest quality... of everything, down to light switches, dining room tables that cost more than most houses and Jenga sets wrapped in leather!

    Loved the interior vid, much of this is taken for granted would have loved to have seen more on this topic. 400K euro for a table is out of this world but then again it is stunning and I am very sure the only one in the world.

    I'm so glad you talked with Pollaro! They build some of the most beautiful artwork furniture in the world. Absolute master craftsmen doing fantastic work. Can't say enough about them but this: if you can ever afford one of their chairs, buy it!

      @@maciejguzek3442 That's not glass. It's actually a VERY well polished epoxi resin
      It takes an enormous amount of expertise and man hours to get that finish
      To be exclusive, you need to overprice it (and this is overpriced)
      But yes, you need to be quite convincing nevertheless =)

    The table is a work of art. The materials, craftsmanship and exclusivity command such a price if one was able to afford it. As for the shower, I've seen better rain showers from Kohler.

    Mr. E …. !!!! My goodness - this video was GREAT !! I wish you could add more of these types of videos to your channel so that we can get an idea as to how the other half lives and what design elements are out there (companies as well). Maybe also add to your channel the design software that some of these yacht builders use when designing so that we can also learn these programs and better our skills if we wanted to become designers. Thank you SIR for this great video !!!

    Just finished the series on this yacht show and it's amazing. There was the sudden thought that these are the sales pitches that are only intended for the wealthy. People who would never have to ask how much that table cost.
    The Jenga store though . . .
    Will there be more of these videos when the shows start again?

    $225 an hour with materials and their overheads isn't that bad when you think about it... Especially for such a beautiful piece that can be passed down for generations to come. The shower, however, is just a 30 grand gimmick.

    Very interesting.I work in a small cleaning company here in London and a lot of these products are new to the land lubbers amongst us.I hope you don't mind but I have suggested a few of the products to clients for their pools,which are located several floors down ,as the wet environment seems to destroy so many lights,fabrics and wood.

    That table was fantastic. Brilliant workmanship but bloody pricey. The top is so slick that it would require full linen coverage while dining. It appeared to be in the shape of a bow at one end stern at the other, is this correct?

    Thank you so much. I am looking at Mega Yachts. I have no idea how one would be able to pick and choose materials and pieces from different designers. I think my best bet will be to find the company whose style I like the best and find out who they design for. Do you remember if there were a couple designers that had extreme elegance? I loved the looks of that woodwork company and that table was exquisite!
    You gave me some really good ideas and I hope to fly to their showrooms to see more of their work.
    Thank you for posting this. Glad that you decided to attend it even if you were under dressed. lol

    That "Aquamoon" stuff makes me mad. A huge walk in stone-covered-beautiful taps-overhead-rainfall shower is a great thing to have, but overcomplicating things just to show off what can be done speaks of poor design. That's exaclty that sort of crap you get when you are used to order "the most expensive variant of everything"; purity and functionality is compromised by marketing bs & "faff". That would be a great marketing slogan for them; Aquamoon; the waterboarding experience for the demanding millionaire. ;-) So better invest the money saved in "golden showers"... ;-)

    • @johnnymatias3027
      @johnnymatias3027 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      And it can use 1000 gallons an hour if you want it to. Why tf would you put that on a boat lol. On second thought why would you want that anywhere? I think you nailed it with the waterboarding.

    • @visionist7
      @visionist7 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's completely the opposite of what you typed. There aren't any taps or even a shower head, just a single touch panel & what looks like a round light but is actually the water source. How is that overcomplicated? How is the traditional spa shower with 5 taps at all "purist"? I don't expect an answer

    Hi,
    Take a look at Jon Olsson "youtuber" monaco boat show vlog 64/65 he has a tour of an 88mt $145m superyacht. This is how the other half live and regarding the gyro stabilizer bed and how bad does it get to warrant buying this.
    On a side note the more popular your channel becomes the more events open up to you just check out the car vloggers like SOL / STG / MRJWW they are on the many companies invite list.
    Could you also flesh out the day to day jobs of crew members like yourself apart from the obvious and what are your thoughts on the tv show Below Decks this is so staged and probably offends a lot of people with in the industry.
    Keep uploading good content.

    • @Puzzoozoo
      @Puzzoozoo 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Seems a tad lazy, if I was a multi billionaire and was going to fork out that kind of serious money to commission a yacht build, I'd at least want to first have a look around the show myself, to see what builders/yards/ designers ect there are, as well as the interior stands for the fittings ect, to get an idea as to what I'd want on my new super/mega/giga yacht.

    • @visionist7
      @visionist7 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Puzzoozoo that's because to you and me, commissioning a yacht like this is a passion project, and we want every detail to be perfect. A lot of billionaires on the other hand rarely ever set foot on their yachts and don't really care what they get "so long as it's The Best"
