Just to help clarify this never ending confusion... A GM truck with rpo code G80 does not have a limited slip, it has an Eaton locker. However, a GM car with the rpo code G80 does have a limited slip. So truck = locker, car = limited slip, but same rpo code G80. This is also the reason for why on a muscle car you can go do burnouts all day long with your G80 without instantly grenading it, but doing a burnout on dry pavement in a truck is the worst thing you can possibly do for the G80 locker.

The Raptor is no doubt the most off road worthy but all of those trucks will get the average buyer anywhere they will ever really take them. By the way, the Nissan and the Ram have the same exact tire size at 275/70/18 yet you claim the Nissan has 32" tires while the Ram has 33" tires. The metric to imperial size translates to 33.2" x 10.8" for both trucks. The Chevy has 32.1" tires and the Raptor has a 34.4" x 12.4" tire. So not even a 35" tire if you were to round up. Again, the Raptor wins by a mile on the most serious terrain but for real world conditions where someone actually uses their truck as a truck give me any of the other three. Heck, give me a regular F-150 4x4 over the Raptor any day.
Can you plz do the comparisons of the off-road packages on the trucks,I mean like the 4x4 off-road package ,Z-71,FX4 packages and whatever off-road package the titan has
Restricted it for sure. Maybe it's so people don't feel gypped when they get the more expensive Ram TRX with that Hellcat. If Nissan can make their V8 sound that good Ram can do better than that anemic sounding 5.7 V8 engine.
The Raptor is a purpose built truck. The only competition for it currently is the TRX. This is not a legitimate comparison. Obviously none of these other trucks are as capable as the Raptor. That said, I love your videos!
Dude you talking about FOX shocks 2.5 each one cost 1500 dollar a pair x2 3000 dollars more so basically raptor is only the shocks and better upper and lower arms that’s the only advantage raptor has
Please compare these off road in an upcoming video. I know you’ve done them all individually before but it would be nice to see them all on the same trail on the same day in the same video.
Rebel is high 60’s now. And the Titan has the best warranty and I think dealers are more apt to give better deals on the Titan because they are not a big seller. But a great truck nonetheless.
Andre: "The Raptor gets a small suspension lift ..." uhhhh ... I don't think so. When you compare the "other's" and their regular offerings to their "more offroad worthy" upgraded versions yes I can see that a suspension lift is performed ... that is NOT the case with the Raptor, it was designed like that from the ground up, therefore (contrary to the others), it was NOT AN AFTERTHOUGHT.
I’m very impressed with them. Mine are at 30,000 and look like they only lost 20% of tread life. I haven’t actually measured them yet but they still look great. My coopers at 30,000 miles looked like they have seen better days.
How you like your duratracs? I got BF Goodrich all terrain. Not bad of a tire but before the duratrac that I had were really good. A little better in my opinion.
@@ramrider1453 Mine have really impressed me usually I have to go buy aftermarket tires but what came on my trailboss have absolutely done well for me. Now they aint no true mud tire but for a hybrid tire they have done well.
Those other trucks should not be compared to the Raptor at all. Raptor vs TRX is the comparison. Or just wait until the F150 Tremor arrives to compare it to the Trailboss, Rebel, and Nissan Pro 4x ...... Just my two cents...
I'm going to need to see it long term with like at least 150k miles on it to give it a good evaluation. All these pretty new trucks are great....but need to see how they hold up for a long term review.
With the raptor I'd like to see a test done between a stock air filter and a k and n air filter drop in air filter between engine noise, dry mpg, towing mpg and 0-60
Toyota guys would be like " This is biased there's no Tundra because they would know that the tundra could out pull, offroad, outrun, and last 75 years and 4 million miles more than those other trucks with no regular maintenance"
TFL: "We're unbiased" ... TFL when comparing the RAM TRX to the Tremor: "The RAM TRX is a way better offroader"; Tremor has better payload and towing. Also TFL, but when comparing apples to potatoes the Ford Raptor to competitors: "The Raptor has the lowest payload ..." yah, unbiased my axxe.

I’ll still take the Titan over the raptor.
What vid where you watching. These were not all new models. The only reason it’s not there is because TFL couldn’t get ahold of one for this vid. I’ve seen no more vids on Tundra than any of the others.
@@josearellano3268 Me too. Titan is KING!!!
@@bc_usa ✊ Nissan power…!!
It seems they significantly downplayed the PRO-4x
You can say that again.
Lamenting Nissan's decision to forego the Titan Warrior. Fingers crossed for the Frontier.
Nissan needs to do a better job of advertising, man. Give that truck a refresh. It's so badass!!!
those cold start revs hurt me😂
The Raptor is no doubt the most off road worthy but all of those trucks will get the average buyer anywhere they will ever really take them.
This video helps to make it clear why the Tremor was needed, big difference in all categories.
Can you plz do the comparisons of the off-road packages on the trucks,I mean like the 4x4 off-road package ,Z-71,FX4 packages and whatever off-road package the titan has
Pro-4x is the only off road package for Nissan
The Titan is in need of a similar treatment the Y61 Patrol gets in the Middle East! 😀
Listen up BOYS: No Raptor. Just bring a Ford 150 Pro 4X4 off road or whatever it's called, to make it fair. Then it's fair for everyone
I don't mind the Kneeson. But why would you want it wider then it's harder to fit down tight tracks. Sorry, Trails.
The ram sounds like a vacuum. They muffled that hemi too much that it almost sounds like a v6
Restricted it for sure. Maybe it's so people don't feel gypped when they get the more expensive Ram TRX with that Hellcat. If Nissan can make their V8 sound that good Ram can do better than that anemic sounding 5.7 V8 engine.
@@buzztrucker yeah that makes sense. They definitely nailed the Ram TRX exhaust note. It sounds amazing 🔥🔥
The NISSAN TITAN has 5 Year / 100,000 miles WARRANTY!!!!!!!!!!
The Raptor is a purpose built truck. The only competition for it currently is the TRX. This is not a legitimate comparison. Obviously none of these other trucks are as capable as the Raptor. That said, I love your videos!
Not to mention 20-30k more expensive.
Dude you talking about FOX shocks 2.5 each one cost 1500 dollar a pair x2 3000 dollars more so basically raptor is only the shocks and better upper and lower arms that’s the only advantage raptor has
@@xxkaiserxx2505 wider stance too. Big advantage for high speed cornering off road. And 35 inch tires.
Please compare these off road in an upcoming video. I know you’ve done them all individually before but it would be nice to see them all on the same trail on the same day in the same video.
Every time I see that E-Torq motor I just wonder how cool it would be to build a go cart with that motor.
You can’t compare those trucks to a Raptor. I love you guys but a Raptor is 90k. Not a fair comparison
I could have sworn the Titan pro-4x was an inch taller than the regular Titan. Maybe it’s just because of the tires
it is
It is..I own a Pro4x
16:29 during the video edit you copied over the “Tires” title card but didn’t change the text for the “Price” discussion.
Honestly tired of everything being compared to the raptor. Completely different truck.
Glad to see Nathan in more videos lately, especially sense he was one of the originals of TFL.
Ram and Ford are killing the truck game.
Give me the Titan !!!
Have a Frontier P4X but if it was in my budget I’d get the Titan for sure.
After all this time you guys still dont know the design of the g80. Its NOT a limited slip
They’ll never get it
One of you just did a video on the F150 Tremor. Why no mention of it?
Where’s the tundra
Exactly!
somebody really replied to my comment and said tundras couldn’t even compare wth
Just depends on what vehicles are in the press fleet at the time
no lockers . Not comparable.
Nathan and Andre is a killer combo
I purchased the titan pro4x love it
Rebel is high 60’s now. And the Titan has the best warranty and I think dealers are more apt to give better deals on the Titan because they are not a big seller. But a great truck nonetheless.
instead of spending huge dollars a loaded off road truck, Get a 'work' truck, then tow your side by side to trail. The cost is same!
My coworker does this but has a platinum F150. I get it but something cool and special about your truck on a trail
Agreed!
All these trucks and that’s the best video you guys can put together.
I have more than 60 thousand miles on my Goodyear duratracs and they have lots of tread left!
Do you live in the city, or do mostly highway driving?
isnt the power wagon the most offroad ram truck?
Those other trucks should not be compared to the Raptor at all. Raptor vs TRX is the comparison. Or just wait until the F150 Tremor arrives to compare it to the Trailboss, Rebel, and Nissan Pro 4x ...... Just my two cents...
The Nissan is pretty nice looking. It's just expensive like all trucks.
Not at all expensive.
I mean I guess that’s subjective. But in comparison to the other trucks, and what you get for the money, it’s not expensive.
If they loaded them like the Nissan i guarantee they be around $63.000
Take off all the extras they used on the tester and you could still get a Pro 4X for $50K.
no Toyotas?

Test drove 3 Raptors. On the freeway they were all very bouncy. Anybody else agree?
Trail Boss is a great truck!
I'm going to need to see it long term with like at least 150k miles on it to give it a good evaluation. All these pretty new trucks are great....but need to see how they hold up for a long term review.
Nice to see Nathan back. I haven't seen him in videos lately.

G80 is not a limited slip rear diff it is, A LOCKER!!!!!!!!!
Glad to see Nathan back!!
Jeez Nathan how many times did you say “ Am I correct” ?
If I’m correct he said it many times. Am I correct?
Really good to see Nathan in more videos again!
Nissan is getting there.. RAM seems to be losing its style to me.
Nissan’s engine is the best. Lower displacement than the ram, but more power. Second highest power in the group.
The rebel is a older design older head lights. This is why I bought a 2021 limited then I will do a few mods and have myself a rebel with more options
Agree 100%
*correction* GMC Sierra #AT4 has the 360 cameras available & the 3.0L diesel available. 2 things the #TrailBoss does not offer.
Thanks guys...
The Nissan looks really nice but I will take the Rebel and with the $6000 saving do some performance upgrades
That Nissan is ugly as hell.

And, my god just give me 4L 4H and a locking diff. All the other off road gizmos are just gizmos to confuse and break. If I go off road I want to test my skills, not the vehicles. It also won’t cost your first child.
We didn’t have access to one.
Do you guys belive any brand will reach out and put elka shocks on there trucks if so who would?
I like the trail boss best for the money . Simple , problem free , and has the nice 2 inch lift factory . If I was rich Id get the raptor tho.
The rebel has a better skid plate and off road package. The f150 tremor will be best in class. The trail boss is the worst one. Rancho shocks are only 200 bucks, and a 2” level is only 2-300$. The trail boss isn’t ready for any sort of trail.
@@harveysingh8785 I have rancho shocks on my wrangler , they work just fine both on and off road . Way , Way better than the stock shocks .I like the chevy because its less busy on the inside . Some will call it dated , yes it is , but I like the simplicity , its a pickup truck . The two inch stock lift assures me its warranted , It will be able to perform any off road tasks I would tackle , like 95% of other drivers which isnt much. My needs are 90% on road and about 10% off road. Plus you can pick these up in the upper 30K range. Every other truck is darn near 50k
@@ScottyBennitone the trail boss custom, is the same price as an XLT f150 but the interior is far behind. Might as well get the XLT and outfit it with better shocks. The Rancho’s are sold on rock auto, they are literally the cheapest off road shocks money can buy. Atleast the rebel has bilsteins and the tremor is custom tuning its own. GM will forever be behind as long as they have people like you who will blindly follow and buy whatever they have to offer.
In reality any truck can go off road. I’m just saying the trail boss isn’t “ trail ready “ with shitty rancho’s
@@harveysingh8785 LOL , relax bud . I have had , fords ,dodges , toyota , so Im certainly not a chevy fan boy , but like I said , for the price , I think I would pick the Trail boss. I like its simplicity , both inside and out . Ive already told you that just because rancho shocks are cheap doesnt equate to they are bad . They come with a factory warranty both from Rancho and Chevy .They are time tested and proven . If they really bother you spend the extra 500- 800 bucks and buy a set of oldman emu 's or bilssteins and install them yourself , its easy . If youre looking to do a good amount of trails , then I wouldnt recommend the trail boss , but if youre a weekend overlander , or just like hitting the trails a couple times a year , then its perfect for people like me , plus doesn't break the bank at 40k brand new. I dont see why youre getting so bent out of shape over rancho shocks . Watch some performance videos with them on jeeps and other rigs , the do just fine .
@@ScottyBennitone Fair enough. But I’m gonna keep on hating the brand until Chevy stop comparing the trail boss to the raptor. It’s advertised as a raptor killer in every dealer within a 100 miles from me.
Comparing these trucks to the Raptor is kind of like comparing apples to a ribeye steak...
Exactly. They are all trucks and apples and ribeyes are both food.
