I’ve always had the best luck with Ram trucks, I take great care of all my vehicles so I have better luck than most but my last Ram 5.7 made it to 657k miles before the head gasket finally gave way, it was an easy fix due to the push rod design, the Ford would be a disaster to fix due to the ovehead cams and the unnecessary amount of valves so the Ram and gm win here. All three trucks are fantastic and you can’t go wrong these days with any of them but I’ll always spend my own money on the rams. I’m a mechanical technician currently working in the aerospace industry on missile systems and I have to say that the Ram trucks are amazingly high quality these days. If you can afford the Ram definitely go for it, at least go and treat drive it if you normally buy Ford or gm, I think you’ll end up buying the Ram. It’s pretty incredible how fantastic all of these truck have become, especially the rams which I can’t stress enough are just so close to perfect.

For 55k price range, I can simply choose RAM Rebel but like Andre said the fuel efficiency isn't for everyone and also the air suspension setup on RAM is more comfy for daily pavement driving. Can you guys compare the newer model GMC Yukon AT4, Chevy Tahoe Z71, Sequoia TRD Pro, Land Rover Discovery or LR4, Lexus GX or LX, Ford Explorer, Acura MDX, Audi Q7, Volvo XC70, Hyundai Palisade and Kia Telluride? I think it's a good comparison idea just because some of us more into these type of suv as daily uses i.e. hauling groceries, a 55 gallon empty rain water barrel, some 6ft 2x4 wood or pvc pipes, transport kayak for 2, light off-roading, carry 2 dobermann dogs and most important is real world fuel efficiency. That'd be a good morning breakfast show and before shopping for next vehicle. Thank you 😊 💓

I'm a Mopar guy but I love trucks from all brands. I wish I could somehow drive different ones all the time. Personally I feel Ram has the nicest interiors and innovative storage bins like the ones under the rear floor mats, the double glove boxes, optional Ram Boxes in the box sides etc. Ford has improved their interior for 2021. GM may want to invest in some nicer interior designs and materials too. The Ram back seat in the crew cab is a few inches larger than the Chevy that's why it has a shorter box.

I am on my second Ram and I love everything about it, except that it only comes with four standard tie downs in the bed. Every time I haul stuff I am reminded of that. Chevy did that better. As for everything else, I love the Ram. I just got back from a 2500 mile multi-state drive, hauling stuff part of the way, and the comfort, the power, the utility are all excellent. If I were in the market today I would trade for another Ram 1500 with the 5.7. However, I am leaning toward a diesel next time and everything I hear suggests the Duramax is a better choice.
