Thanks! That helped alot man! Btw could you make a video or a guide how to get the final parts after that in? you know how to get the gear pin that stick out of the left side on the enginge.. would been great
what type of gearbox oil do you use ? cause my manual (of a '07 rs125) says to use SAE 75 W 90 , but my former mechanic (from who I bought it) claimed it needed 10W40 engine oil I've had my bike for about a year now and I've had lots of trouble with it, my gearbox already needed two complete rebuilds and the engine needed 3/4 rebuilds got it back for about a week (still riding it in) and my second gear makes way more nose then the others... so my guess is that it's got the wrong gearbox oil?
Great video. I found it through your post about the complete engine rebuild, nice. Did you use an aftermarket crankshaft for the rebuild or a rebuilt crankshaft?
hi can you help i used you vid an a rotax build book to rebuild a april rs 125 ( 122 lump ) after full assemble i now am having shift issues can't go down with out a fight would you have any clue to what could cause this issue ?
does anybody have any gears for the output shaft for sale??? am after the last one on the end...GEAR Z=30 its called, message me if you have... regards
A late reply. This is my personal account. Reverse gear ? We don't need a reverse gear on no stinking 2 stroke. If you can turn the engine quickly enough to start it, it'll run backwards or forwards.
There is a flat on shift drum between gears. There's also a raised notch on the rear of the shift drum that pushes the neutral light switch.
@AntelopeSam you can use either! Use 10w - 40 engine oil, or 75w - 90 gearbox oil! :)
