now, in 2021, and after 2020, his words about the chaotic world that has been screwed by people have become even more meaningful

This needs some context. Is this part 2 of 2 or 3 of some larger set? It makes no sense on its own.

I appreciate the emphasis on relationship and connection ... but the highly abstract level of this presentation is very hard to FEEL. I can't relate to these abstractions about energy, information flow, integration, self-organization ... etc. I can't see how these words and geometric diagrams and graphs about emerging energy will actually directly help anybody.

I felt the same exact way the first time through. I was so curious and intrigued by it that I listened to it again and took notes. Each abstract concept became clear, which was helped by stopping and rewinding it and writing it down. I'm hungry for this stuff. I highly recommend giving it another try. When I felt the concepts slipping into what I call the blah, blah, blah, I stopped and regrouped and began again. That took a lot of deep thinking and feeling, ugh, but worth it. Hope you give it another whirl. Cheers!

Sadly, here we have someone who has either been told or has read about a certain profound experience but has yet to experience it himself, instead choosing to conjure up a pseudoscientific theory of what this state actually is and how it can be tested and measured. More market place bullshit.

You obviously know nothing about the science of neurobiology & how much Dan Siegel has contributed to this field - nor have you read any of his sixteen books.

@@ThrivingLovingRelationships Really, I will tell my professors that you don't find their approval of my doctorate adequate.

I am sure your doctorate is "adequate" & stellar, Dave. There is room for numerous points of view!
