BREAKING THE CURSE Freshwater fishing in Western Australia for big Perch, Trout and Common Carp.

After a 4 day trip to Harvey and Logue brook dam resulting in nothing, I ventured out for redemption.
A visit to Western Australia's Waroona dam and a new freshwater location saw me on the search of big perch, trout and true wild Common Carp.
In this video in one of my secret Perth Fishing Spot, I try some new rigs in the form of drop shotting dead bait and slow drifting soft jig heads for big perch and trout. As well as some old school waggler fishing in marginal snags for hard fighting common carp.

A nice session on the carp - I miss fishing for real wild carp, do you get to target any native species?

Unfortunately here in wa we don't get many native freshwater fish apart from black bream in dams and very upper reaches of river. The only other native fish I target here in wa are Tandanus catfish, the only other freshwater targets here are trout and perch.
