BMW M have introduced the M4 CS to bridge the gap between the track-focused M4 GTS and M4 Competion package. The CS will be produced in limited numbers and offers 460hp along with a sportier suspension configuration for driver focus.
You don't - he shifted it back into drive which then put it into park when he turned it off.. there is actually a parking brake button which he could of used instead.
Not on cars with the M-DCT gearbox! You have to put it in R or D and then switch it off to put it in P. You can also leave it in N, then pull the handbrake and press again on the start button without pressing the brake and it goes into P.
they didn't put halos in some 3series and stuff idk about 4 series but i tihnk they made it an add on optino but they shou;d not have, makes the car look so damn cheap..

I had a standard M4 since Sep 14 but just couldn't deal with that exhaust note (plus the damping wasn't as planted as my previous E92 comp pack). I did try an M4 comp pack a few months ago and was impressed with the tweaks but that noise just sounded like the same voice with a sore throat so I decided not to change and got rid. Hopefully the next gen will improve but for now I'm out of BMW. Apart from that, keep up the videos Tim as I do find most of them enjoyable. Edited: now I've watched this video I'm thinking this could be the one. I assumed the CS would fall between the regular car and the comp pack. Need to take a closer look (and listen) to one of these.
It would nice if you would incorpotate some outside views of the car while driving at speed so that we could see not only enjoy the inner cockpit view but the outside as well, that would be awesome because the design of the car gives a great visualization of what you'd look like while driving these incredible machines!!

@@robnagy44 I think all M4's have the illuminated badge on the seats. The OLED taillights, however, are only on the CS and GTS variants. They are expensive as hell, over nine thousand USD!
You should post some shots of the speedometer as you accelerate in your videos not just the road. People want to see how hard it accelerates not just scenery.
Lol, good one. I think the reason BMW drivers don't use indicators is because they fear the if they use the indicator lights too much, the electronics may break and then it will be expensive to replace haha!
I LOVE this new M4 CS version! Even the color looks awesome. Question, what are the black and red colored stripes called that were featured on the M2 car at the beginning of the video and why doesn't BMW make it an option to have those stripes a factory option? Those stripes make the cars look even more sick!
Those stripes cannot be fitted in the factory in Leipzig. There is no time for it in the production process. Dealers do it when the customer asks for it.
I dont know why the m2 cs is so hard to find nowadays .If you are asking yess there is an M2 cs and alot of people didn't know that but its really hard to find we all know the cs comes in the m3 and 4 but also 2 very rare in the m2

they have been doing this for a while now. m3, m3 csl, m3 gtr, m3 limerock edition etc. It's nothing new and why not distinguish a regular m4 from a gts. Ford has done it with the mustang along with a lot of other companies.

The M4 CS doesn't pump any artificial noice into the cabin - it was removed for weight saving. You hear the real thing :).
Those OLED back lights are one of the most satisfying things to watch when they turn on
The dark-blue CS is incredible spec-wise, fits so well.

The best part about this are the rear lights with full LEDs instead of this awful halogen bulbs in the old M4

To cut the cost down and gain the maximum of profit at the beginning. I agree that it's pretty ugly with halogen.

LED? These are OLEDs, the same type used in the M4 GTS... A standard M4 has full LEDs; no current BMW uses halogen lamps for the rear lights...

i believe the CS does NOT have the engine noise enhancing speaker system.
I like the color, it's different, clean and more whitish. Matches nicely with the black rims, windows and carbon accents.
At this price point, wouldn't one be better served with a 911 GTS?
