    Great looking Pakora, Anisa!
    You can add a little baking soda to the mix, and the batter puffs up a little more when frying and is very light and crispy.

    Looks lovely...please advise though can i leave out the Fenugreek, coriander and rice flour? With the flour would I replace with the same amount if gram flour? How many does the recipe serve as I only require enough for 2 people as a starter? If anyone can help its appreciated.

    • @cookwithanisa
      @cookwithanisa  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hiya lovey, the Fenugreek gives it flavour and the Rice Flour makes them crispy.. Any reason why you want to leave them out hun?
      I cant remember how many this recipe serves, its been a while lol, but I think it would be too many for two people. Maybe half the amounts in the recipe and that should be ok. Hope that helps 😘

      +Cook with Anisa ASAK Anisa. Insha'Allah i know a lot of us mothers are already in the planning stages for Ramadan. One dish dinners would be nice too i.e. pilau, haleem, pasta, etc. In snacks some fried items like kachori, cutlass, puff pastry, that can double for sehri too. Though I'm not one for too rich and fatty foods during iftar. Some healthy options, chana chaat, yogurt based items, fruits/veggies, salads! Can never have enough salads. LOL! oh my, my list is quite long! :-) How's that for starters? pun not intended!

    • @cookwithanisa
      @cookwithanisa  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      awww thank you so much sis, lol thats an awesome "starter" .. and your so right, many of will be thinking about preps from now lol .. but after the long fast its difficult to eat alot .. more healthy and less rich/fatty foods is definitely the way to go!

      Zaza Teco Fenugreek is a herb. It is available fresh and dried in most indian or pakistani stores. Its seeds are used to cook veg curries. The fenugreek seeds have amazing medecinal qualities as well. Leaves are mostly used dry in meat dishes. It is almost always cooked in green fresh leaves with spinach. Good luck
