Courage, Bravery, Heroism are great in a man. Yet, Integrity is before them all. God instills Integrity in each man and woman. If they utilize it in life is not true for all. This man was humble and did not compromise his integrity. God was above him and he honored him by committing to keep his 10 Commandments despite the odds that came roaring at him.
We aut to model ourselves and loved ones after his example. To God Be The Glory

      You're wrong.
He is one of the very greatest HUMANS and heroes of all time, throughout the entire history of humanity. What he did is simply mind-boggling, and I still will never understand or begin to believe how everything happened was real, of all the favourable coincidences to stay alive, and how he even single-handedly did that much. It legitimately questions if there actually IS a god.

I saw Hacksaw ridge just recently and I still cannot comprehend the magnitude of bravery and sacrifice this man made and I have to say the movie nearly had me in tears , not only because of what he did but the fact that I fell away from Christianity, not trying to start a conversation here about religion thats not why I commented but Just to say Ive been bitter and angry towards many people especially christians . Started to hate christians actually because some people are only in name christian and you see some of the horrible things they do being ,extremely hypocritical, violent , racist, warmongerers ,judge gays but then will have sex outside of marriage .People like this hero reminded me that however not to judge all chrisitians for for the actions of some and I also realized that this past few years I basically became what I disliked in many christians .Desmond Doss inspired me and helped remind me that just like the bible says to love everyone and there is no greater love then to lay down ones life for his friends , Im not saying Im christian again but I want to love people from now on no matter how rude , disrespectful they are etc .Desmond Doss thank you for taking a stand for your beliefs even in the face of death ,hate and persecution.
