    They called him a "coward".
Little did they know, he was the bravest of them all, facing literal hellfire, UNARMED and saved almost 80 people in the process.
    Absolutely incredible.

What the movie gets wrong is that he won the respect of most of his soldiers when he completed his final hike with them in Basic. He took care of everyone else's feet before his own and had actually hiked with heavier gear than any rifle.

I even heard that for the movie based on his life, the director left some times out because he felt that people would find them too hard to believe. Wished he didn't do such, I'm eager to find out what those other things were.

I just rewatched "Hacksaw Ridge", and I know movies usually may add more adventure to make it interesting, but in this case, they left out things. How on earth can someone save 75 wounded men in the conditions he was in. Absolutely no one! Even if it's in a video game as someone pointed out "Save 75 wounded without taking any damage" is just ridiculous. But Doss did it. What a legend, a hero... Incredible that even in the middle of battle, he did his part and more, refusing to take a single life, but only to save life. If every man was like him, there would be absolutely no war.

Why not make sure that you are truly saved by Jesus Christ and practice this way. Remorsefully confess with your heart your sins to Jesus Christ who is God and tell Him that you right now are repenting of your sins and you want to be born again of the Spirit from above. Tell Jesus that you are remorsefully sorry for breaking His commandments and that you are begging for forgiveness from Him. Allow His blood from the cross to wash away your sins. After this is done with your heart successfully the Holy Spirit will come to live within you and He will rebuild you from the inside out.
Look for signs that you are saved. Things like spreading the good news from Jesus, getting other people saved, a craving for the word of God, reading the Bible, etc… These things are known as a calling and fruit bearing. If you're not bearing fruit then keep doing it. Sometimes it takes time to get saved. Read Matthew chapter 13 from the King James Bible. God bless!!!

When will they realise that going to war pronto is pointless. Next war mentioned I want sudden PAUSE. I want the privates to drop their combat clothes and put on suits whilst the politicians slip into the privates former uniforms. Guns in hand I want the leaders to resume the charge.
    Think they’ll go for it?
