sadly mel gibson is hated in hollywood,hacksaw was the the best movie i have seen in many years,i will be surprised if he ever wins another oscar,though it should have sweeped the evening

This movie helps you see the inner strength that resides in the human being. I’ve watched it a half dozen times and it never fails to bring tears to my eyes when the other men in his unit realize he is not a coward but maybe the bravest person they have ever met. The book itself is awesome and the movie brings out the salient points of who Desmond Doss is. He is a shining example why his is called the “Greatest Generation”.
I cried non stop watching this movie..and am crying through the interviews....what a touching story depicted so brilliantly...its hard to believe it actually happened but for the fact I know God is real....💙

The only time Doss touched a gun was to use a broken rifle stock as a splint for his own arm . He NEVER used a rifle to tow/drag the Sgt. to safety . His BIBLE was also not recovered like in the movie . Doss was on ship , got word back to his buddies , then , they went searched the battlefield for DESMOND DOSS ' BIBLE , which was then returned to him . Read the story!!!

Why not make sure that you are truly saved by Jesus Christ and practice this way. Remorsefully confess with your heart your sins to Jesus Christ who is God and tell Him that you right now are repenting of your sins and you want to be born again of the Spirit from above. Tell Jesus that you are remorsefully sorry for breaking His commandments and that you are begging for forgiveness from Him. Allow His blood from the cross to wash away your sins. After this is done with your heart successfully the Holy Spirit will come to live within you and He will rebuild you from the inside out. Look for signs that you are saved. Things like spreading the good news from Jesus, getting other people saved, a craving for the word of God, reading the Bible, etc… These things are known as a calling and fruit bearing. If you're not bearing fruit then keep doing it. Sometimes it takes time to get saved. Read Matthew chapter 13 from the King James Bible. God bless!!!
