  • Follow my journey through the heart of Kuala Lumpur, as a traveler from America, where the city's beauty meets affordability. 🌆🚶‍♂️ From a cozy apartment with a view to the lively streets, join me as I venture to a local mamak for a culinary adventure. 🍜
I planned to try the famous Malaysian Roti Canai but ended up savoring the incredibly tasty Mee Goreng after a slight timing mishap. 🕒🍽️ Experience the first bite with me and understand why this dish is a must-try in Malaysia. Plus, get a glimpse of the cost of living here through menu prices and my total bill - just $1.92! 💵
If you're curious about the Malaysian lifestyle or considering a visit, this video is for you. Don't forget to like, subscribe, and ask your questions in the comments! 📹👍

Dodol , otak , bobo chacha at the ais kacang's , roti planta , murtabak , cham tarik at the roti canai's. In the deep , deep rurals there's a tongkat ali coffee. Clasically a Malay house opens the kitchen window where you see a table at the window. Call out and you get served.

It's mind blowing to be able to get a tasty meal with so little at a restaurant in Kuala Lumpur. Try getting a meal like that elsewhere?😂😂😂

The soft drink alone in a restaurant in America would be ~$2.50-$3.50 it’s important to note quality is not being scarified here . 🥰 thank you for your input

If I may run down the noodle stocks available , for your viewers. The common mee(yellow noodle) , bihun(rice noodle) , kwei theou(char kwee teow)(flat noodle also used in one style of chee cheong fun)(the other style being made-on-the-spot) , yee meen(something mistaken for ramen) , maggi(ramen) , "sang meen" (wontan mee noodles)(raw ramen)(egg noodle) , lou see fun(?)(the original noodle when the Chinese learned the "laksa" from the Malays , vermicili , pan meen(wheat noodle) , what tan hor (kwei teow)(halal when the stall is Malay) , sang meen or bihun "kong fu" fry( it's wet like what tan).
